preaching at church on sunday
on monday, screwing a hooker at the motel

you mean it's like with you guys, praying everyday and few minutes later doing what you are worldwide known for? lol

Now this why some americans

Thanks for not generalizing mvefa. As long as someone says "some" I can only agree with him. But "some" is actually a word that applies to anyone and anywhere else, right?

COMPLAINING DAY TO NIGHT. And this you see a lot in Americans

and here you're totally wrong my friend. Americans don't complain much at all. Some other nations are really known for it and I don't mean Dutch, :-)

Ok, that's retarded, you know how many civilians get trapped in this stupidness...?

Well, try to see like this, no matter what we do, they'll still fight each other due to their religious problems so what tornado meant is, why sacrifice our soldiers in fighting those bastards while they already kill each other anyway.

Americans could do a few things to improve their image abroad.

hm, strange, when I suggested what can be done in Poland to change Polish image around the World, the admin or mod (I believe it was Wroclaw) said that Poland is not interested what we think about them so why would we have to change anything if they and many others don't?

We must be doing something right.

This statement should at least make them thing for a second but then again, who knows? :-)

they come for shopping and tourism mostly

Is this what you really believe? I hope not. At least from certain countries, they're definitely not just visitors.

Ignorance has no passport or nationality!

First time I fully agree with you (obviously as long as you include your part of the World into it too).

Do you think nobody likes you?

Couldnt care less.

Do you as an American feel unappreciated?

Yeah, like I really give damn.. I am sitting on my nest egg.. Screw all of you losers.

Do you have a feeling that everyone outside the States is out to get you because of your country?

Let them come.. You too. We will kick ass and send you all back to where you come from

Do you hear a voices?:)

Yes.. I hear my wife calling me for dinner.. HO-HUM STEAK AGAIN

they come for shopping and tourism mostly

Very true. Our shelves are full of everthing.. We even have soft toilet paper. When it comes to tourism. We got it all.

From California
To the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest
To the Gulf stream waters.. This land as made for us.. The Americans Screw the rest of you.

Which ones are you talking about? There haven't been that many.

There have been uncountable dozens, possibly hundreds, of them. They continue to occur even today. Compare that to the one that happened in the U.S. 3000 people is actually not that many on a grand scale. Relatively shortly after 9/11, there was a Tsunami of god-like proportions in Asia. 200,000 people killed, last I heard. The world moved on, as have all the countries affected by the Tsunami. Americans continue to whine about 9/11 even today.

When I hear Americans talk of 9/11, they speak of it with huge emotional investment, like it was some earth-shattering moment for the Universe. What they fail to realise is that it was no such thing. Terrorism is nothing new to the world, and just because it was new to the U.S doesn't mean they can do whatever the hell they want just because they are ignorant of the reality of the world.

Oh yes they do...

I don't know what kind of Americans you've met. I don't know anyone around me complaining all the time. You know it's just not our thing to complain, we're not raised that way. Look, just a typical words we say a lot, "how's it going" did you ever here someone saying, not good? Hell no and you never will.

Every rich country has inmigrants..check the numbers..

well, ain't that what I said? But then again, we have the biggest amount of illegal immigrants.

Americans continue to whine

Americans whine, LMAO. Look at yourself, I've never met anyone else who's whining more than you guys. You whine just about anything and all the time.

I've never met him personally and as far as this forum, just look what kind of bull**it we have to face here. This is not about whining, it's about responding to all kinds of stupid accusations and insults. What will you do if someone will constantly talk crap about the Netherlands? I mean I can take reasonable criticism but this on and on crap is just disgusting.

Powerful, compelling argument.

It is when it's brought up by someone who spent four years in your country and exactly knows the situation over there.

Yet ANOTHER reason why people dislike Americans. You take your country way too seriously. When will you people realize that a country is just a country? Why do you choose to identify yourself with it so much? So what if someone insults it? The fact that you feel the need to get upset when someone directs criticism at a country is pathetic.

and you don't?

Why do you choose to identify yourself with it so much?

What about Poles? You guys guys stand for your country even more.

The fact that you feel the need to get upset when someone directs criticism at a country is pathetic.

No problem with reasonable criticism but what you guys do here is simply too much.
I criticize certain things I don't like about my country too but what's going on here, doesn't have anything to do with criticism.

Do you think that nobody likes Americans ?

Actually I've met quite a few Poles who did like us but it seems like on this forum is a very specific kind of people who obviously have problems with us.

One of the reasons why I joined this forum was because I expected to meet friendly people like some of my Polish friends I'm still in touch with from Mikolajki.

Question in this thread is Why Americans think that nobody likes them?

I know where you are coming from, Ironside. People came to America for a better life because there were no kings and everyman could own land. People thought life was better in America once. When Europe had two big wars it wasn't a surprise to many Americans because this is one of the reasons either they or their grandparents moved to America in the first place. They weren't anxious to get involved because they wanted to get away from fighting wars. When we did get involved we felt like we defeated the Nazis (with the help of the Russians, of course) and expected each of our feets kissed because of that. That's why some on here hollar about unappreciative Europeans but since so many of us got families in Europe we should help them out and support their prospering whenever possible.

People who don't live here tend to blame the US for everything and are jealous of things like free school textbooks and luxury exec homes available to far more people than any other country on earth. You don't have to know the Prince or the PM to qualify.

The only voice we hear is that of our lovely Lady Liberty donated to us by the great French nation :) :) :) :)

This forum is multinational :) for example

Secondly criticism is aimed at US policy not Americans - anyway most of the time:)

Look at how others live compared to the US. I would be pissed too especially if some ******* ran the country who didn't give a damn which is often the case.

Now, now everybody. We can all get along just fine. Aint no place greater than any other :D

I believe she got so extreme because she got tired of hearing the same crap on and on.
You also showed negative reactions quite a few times as I have experienced it on this forum.

Well, I was friendly and you bashed me:)

Well, that's a lie. You weren't always friendly to me :-)

Who gives a damn what others are thinking about you

you see, I tend to agree with you in this point. This is exactly the attitude most of us get when we have to face way too many insults but it's also a reason for many people out there to call us arrogant. So which one do you prefer, the "who gives a damn" version or showing reaction like on this forum? Either way you guys are trying to fight us, so since this a forum, we might just as well fight back for what we love and believe.

I'd rather stay with "I don’t give a crap what you think about me…" version that fighting back… otherwise it's gonna be an endless b.s. Everybody's different, u can't generalize nation as one… Nothing's perfect… why is it so difficult to understand that?

Maybe while I was discussing politics and emotions where high

You see, this exactly what happens to people, everyone has his emotional points and moments. I personally don't see anything wrong about people having arguments every once in a while. I'ts natural to argue over things that are important to us because if we can't find any agreement, this is the only way to defend our point or give it up which again is not my thing. I'm not a quitter. :-)

Nothing's perfect… why is it so difficult to understand that?

Hey, exactly my words. You seem to be a smart guy. Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way and this is why we're having those arguments and not only on this forum.

unjustified mess based on lies, lies and more lies.. boo

and then unbelievably americans said, you're doing heck of a job bushy,

I take it that you are a Republican... :)

What was the approval rating of Bush in the end, once again? Remember what happened to Bush's poodle? Nah, going into Iraq a second time was a big time mistake. Since then, thousands of troops and an unknown number of civilians have been killed, billions of dollars been wasted for nothing. Heck of a job, bushy...

But who poodle?
