Also, does Mr. Edwards recognise the Polish language, or do they all wear little red and white flags?

They indeed do! Just this clown confuse Poles with Indonesians and citizens of Monaco!

Whichever nationality those people are - I feel sorry for them :( The motive behind the article doesn't seem aimed for that reaction, but it's the one I had. The motive does seem to be to create more of a negative image about Polish people, and it is pathetic to exploit anybody's misfortune to try make some pathetic point. It has been said we (at least Scotland anyway) need more immigrants - these idiots who seem to be trying to inspire more aggravation amongst those who are anti-immigration should be stopped because tabloids hold far too much influence in Britain (i.e The Sun's influence in Labour's defeat in 1992). Damaging their own nation.

Wroclaw Boy - oh honestly, why come on here and annoy people? We get it - you don't like living where you do.

True. They should better write something about a British guy I pissed on.

And who would that be, me? Come off it, you all always full of talk and hot air. I have never heard of Poles sleeping in toilets at night. The authorities always lock them up (the toilets, that is) at night anyway. Poles would rather sleep on the floor like anyone else any day of the week.

lol

I don't mind poles being in the u.k. Infact i have many polish friends and really like polish people on the whole and poland. There is a poish store in my town and i am very welcoming to any poles i may meet.

The affect on local employment is noticeable though. Not that this angers me or anything,it's just an observation ..and hey it's life and there are plenty of positive effects too.

Having just returned from travelling there would normally be certain local jobs that i could walk into.Obviously places with high turn over ...jobs that most brits don't really want to do. These days most of these postions are filled, due to the influx of poles into this area.

Like i say i'm not complaining about this, it's just an observation. I'm all for immigration and am looking to go and spend some extended time in Poland myself. It's a great place with genuine, friendly people.

Have they no shame

actually I think its smart.. they arent on the outside of the building, looking like bums
they are inside and although its annoying, I am sure if they had somewhere to go
they would..

homeless people generally are outside on benches, and they do try to get inside where
its warm and its very sad to see a homeless person dead on a park bench ..

nobody invited 200000 poles to the uk and they are there sleeping in toilets

cheap cunts creed people trying to make a buck so low level

actually there are more than 700,000, with estimates that it is near one million poles who have fled to the uk.

britain has not only the lowest unemployment rates in the eu, but one of the lowest in the world.

the reason there are so many poles is because the government miscalculated eastern European immigration at 40,000 not near one million.

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7068291.stm

unlike polish unemployment which is one of the highest in the eu, so who exactly are the lazy ones ?
dtaylor 9 | 823
24 Dec 2007 /  #71
and whats your point, britain is part of the E.U so if poles or any other persons from the E.U want to live in the uk so what!!

are you saying i shouldnt have right to be living in poland??

britain may have a low unemployment rate, but if the poles left, what do you think it would be then?

I am against all forms of mass unskilled immigration, if a polish person is educated and is filling a job that no other brit can do (due to skilled shortages) such as dr or nurse then they have a right to live here.

the british general public are against mass immgration of eastern europeans who claim all manners of benefits, do not pay tax due to their tax being rebated back to them when they leave. and have a severe adverse affect on socia structures, house pricing etc. etc.

if the poles left we would be in the same state before they came, we did not need them before and we do not need them now. only business who exploit them will be affected.

OP noimmigration
24 Dec 2007 /  #74

I work part time in the real world :), anyway the fact is that not only is mass immgration dangerous to our country, but to make matters worse it is the mass immgration of poles and other eastern europeans who obtain a culture and ideology that is vastly inferior to our own.

I would be against the mass immgration of australians or canadians but at least they are of a higer calibre than poles and slovaks etc.

mass immgration of eastern europeans who claim all manners of benefits

i dont see any mass from abroad trying to claim benefits!! most poles come to work, simple and the truth.

tax being rbetaed back to them

brittish people can have a tax rebate aswell, so again whats your point?

and have a severe adverse affect on socia structures, house pricing

first thing is, the mass majority off poles integrate quickly into sociaty, i think its the brits like you who are to blame for this problem, by refusing to accept them.

secondly, HOUSE PRICES!! well im sorry but i doubt if the poles are buying up the real estate, the problem with the housing in scotland is du to the shortage of new homes being built, i dont think thats a poles problem, and if you know your politics you would see that the SNP have already addressed this problem and put into place new laws so that every new housing scheme must have a percentage of homes with a capped house price so that everybody is able to afford a new home.

last thing, your a rangers fan yes??

I work part time in the real world

job seekers allowance yes???

that is vastly inferior to our own.

have you ever met a ned?? or are you one??

this is a blatant lie.

only if thehy have paid too much tax

having well over 700,000 poles move to britain along with other eastern europeans in just two years and we are expected to build housing for them.

job seekers allowance yes???

no, i dont even get a bursary or a student loan as my dad pays for my fees and I work part time, and no I am not a rangers fan

prove me wrong then???? or can you?

only if thehy have paid too much tax

the same as poles. oh heres a fact you didnt know, up till this year polish people also had to pay tax in poland while working in the uk. would you work if you had to pay 40%???

having well over 700,000 poles move to britain along with other eastern europeans in just two years and we are expected to build housing for them.

is it the poles fault, ive yet to hear of a polish person buying property. the housing problem was there long before poland became part of the E.U

as my dad pays for my fees

why dont you get a full time job to pay it yourself, sounds like your free-loading

what and where do you teach dtaylor

i teach medical english, where, cant you work it out yet??
