Theres a difference between getting on with someone and being friends with someone
I have lots of english friends!!!!!!!!!!!!and i do get on with everybody too.

Polish people are invited by english employers all the time....why....becouse there is lots of jobs that british people will not do!!!!!!!
so maybe all polish people will go back home.....and you english lazy ........will go and pick some fruit on the farm .....but no ,,no 1 english person will go and work in a crap job like that!!!it is better to be on benefits and keep saying-"i want a job but i cannot get one becouse of all the polish people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it would be intresting to see if there will be many english people going for it???????????i dont think so

Yawn! You may note that the British companys by law are now obliged to advertise jobs in Britain for 4 weeks, so as lazy as you keep saying the English are, if given the opportunity, they might just take the jobs.

As a side note, who do you think picked our tatties before the immigrants came? We have always been and always will be capable of doing our own dirty work!

More trolling/flaming threads. Why don't you just fcuk off you boring twat!

Exactly!

Where are they getting the money from, when asylum seekers actually receive a pittance? Unless the rules have changed (and I doubt they have!) - they were getting 70% of whatever JSA is equal to nowadays.

What exactly did they get when they were in their own countries? so £40 per week plus all the other assistance they receive is heaven! If you really believe all they receive is £40 per week, then you are living in cloud cuckoo land!

They're also prohibited from working (one reason why many of them end up turning to crime - what choice do you have if you get 40 pounds a week?!) - so just where is this 'embezzled' cash coming from?

Most do, most are employed illegally, because MOST are in fact liars and not asylum seekers, they are in fact economic migrants.

Funnily enough, no unemployed Brit has yet taken me up on the offer.

Did any Polish person take you up on your very very kind offer? Since Polish people are flocking to England because there are no jobs in Poland :D

Well that is 70% more than I am eligible to recieve and I am British! something wrong there don't you think, that "asylum seekers", and I use that term loosely, comes before a british citizen.

They're also prohibited from working (one reason why many of them end up turning to crime - what choice do you have if you get 40 pounds a week?!) - so just where is this 'embezzled' cash coming from?

The choice that they have is to stay in their own country, instead of fleeing because of persecution, how is this really going to change the circumstances in their country if they choose to quit, and run from the problem. Some of these rings are highly organised, strange how they are not able to establish and carry out these highly organised rings in their own country!.

I have no problem with polish people, they are not asylum seekers, the majority work hard and integrate very well. we are europeans after all.

The problem I have is with asylum seekers and illegal immigrants as they are a drain on resources, you have already said yourself that they are prohibited from working, what exactly do they contribute to the economy? apart from their "sob stories" which may increase the sales of some down market tabloid.

Go ahead and prove me wrong.

Of course, no-one wants to believe that 'those dirty rotten asylum seekers, all of which ignore the EU and come straight to the UK' actually live in poverty, sometimes in absolutely shocking conditions. I suggest you start with finding out where Glasgow City Council put their asylum seekers.

Most do, most are employed illegally, because MOST are in fact liars and not asylum seekers, they are in fact economic migrants.

Then deal with the problem by dealing with the employers. I'm sure if the punishment for illegal employment was an instant prison sentence, there would be far less motive to hire someone illegally.

Also - sort out the system! It's incredibly slow and bureaucratic - I don't think anyone would argue with a fair, just system that protected people from war zones and efficiently dealt with economic migrants - but a system that leaves people to rot in squalid council flats in places like Possilpark in Glasgow simply doesn't work.

But then again, you can't expect the UK to be sensible surrounding this - after all, it's the same country that said that people have nothing to fear from ZANU-PF in Zimbabwe!

Since Polish people are flocking to England because there are no jobs in Poland :D

There are jobs here, just no-one wants them because they don't pay enough. Unfortunately, apart from Romanians and Bulgarians (which no Pole would hire!), there's not really a large pool of labour available to work for minimum wage.

jwojcie:
Ok so lets take one such estimate that as many as 1.2 m Poles have emmigrated, add another few hundred thousand to cover romanians, bulgarinas, albanians, hungarians, russians and God knows who else and its even more likely that Poles would suffer the brunt of the discrimination as theyre the majority.

You right, most reliable sources claimed that it was/is about 1.2m of Poles... but... it was entire emigration from Poland to entire globe, not only UK.

You dont blame Romania or the Italians for WWII, do you?

Ok, if your goal is to put everyone in the same pot, you can easily just use typical English phrase: "those bloody Europeans" ;-)

Ive been claiming for years that crime rates in Poland have dropped since 2004 as most of the scammers and criminals high tailed it the land of opportunity that was England, its a criminals heaven over there.

I agree with that. Poland in 2004 done two things:
- we exported our unemployment (UK will be thankful for that in the long run, Poland will lose)
- we exported our criminals (well, sorry for that)

On the other hand, I don't understand how some British expacts in Poland who came here to make easy money doing English classes (I don't talk about you) are so surprised that Polish wave hit mainly UK. Wasn't it just perfect example of Newton's third law? Hm... actually you should blame americans, there were plenty of people from Peace Corps teaching English in Polish high schools in 90'. Accidentally those kids were the outcome of population boom in 80'... Funny thing isn't it ? American Peace Corps educated workforce for UK ;-)

Yes, well you go into the "underworld "of illegal immigration and asylum seeking", same thing really, and make this statement and I am sure that they would be delighted to accommodate you!

Pakistani, Indian and African migrant workers are 100% diffrent to english people

only in colour pal and mebe religion, but majority of these people have lived and infact help build the uk into a thriving country whereas the eastern europeans have not contributed anything, they(polish etc)are coming and just taking the cream from the top without doing any leg work.majority of other ethnic groups have families and are well settled in the uk,they work, pay their taxes and spend their money in the uk hence helping the uk economy whereas the esatern europeans work in the uk but take their cash back to their homelands which doesnt help the economy of this country at all.

£10,000 fine for employing illegals, its working a treat, foreign businesses are closing daily because they think they can outsmart the Border Agency :D Or think that the fines will not be imposed. Its mainly Chinese, Pakistans, Indians, iraqis and failed asylum seekers they end up deporting - Note I said "foreign" businesses, thats because its only foreign businesses that employ them.

to their homelands which doesnt help the economy of this country at all.

So FP are you telling me that the all the money transfer places that are in ethnic areas in the UK are there for these ethnics to receive cash from their prosperous homelands?

Or, shock horror, could it be that they are sending the majority of their money back to support extended family in these 3rd world backwaters whilst draining this country by having their 5 kids in school here? I saw a report with Rageh Omaar in it, he called it "distribution of wealth"

majority of other ethnic groups

Are not welcome

only in colour pal and mebe religion

Culturally completely different, whilst all European immigrants have integrated (Italians for one example - been here since the mid 19th centruy in Manchester) and not created ghettos, ethnics have. You lot are destroying England brick by brick and wont be satisfied until you have turned it into the shii---tholes you all left!

You are an immigrant, please dont tell us who we should and shouldnt have in our country, as for building up england, a few curry empires is hardly worth bragging about!

The huge problem in the uk, and the most expensive are asylum seekers.

Yes mate but it is not " thier" problem but " our" stupid governments fault for offering them all these benefits. Why do you think they are all camped in thier thousands along the coast of france ( notice i spell france with a small f and not a capital) like some medievil army awaiting to invade. France and Germany are the clever ones " nothing here for you mate so best fxx off". Also and just as important the government make money off them ( at our expense). Not sure how much but per head of imigrant we take in some £££s are handed out by the World Health Organisation and similar organisations. But we the public still pick up the peices by being taxed heavily to subsidise them. So I would say they are a problem but caused by the government policy on this subject. Please forget this arguement that some put across that we are a caring, free, democratic and humanistic nation and that's why we take them in. Sadly it's all down to £££s and jo public have to live with it. It stinks
