Why is Poland so Un-Sexy?

I like photography and in my opinion, Poland is very attractive and is very photogenic. There are many beautiful qualities as well as cold dark qualities. There's something for everyone there. I'm very impressed with the quality of the reconstruction. Can't say this for many other places in Europe.

but who can look at the buildings when the guys are so cute??...lol only kidding!

I have to admit that we are extremely rubbish at self-promotion. Sometimes I think that an average Pole knows more about the US of A than about their fatherland. It would be different if Hollywood would produce some movies about our country, but the probability that it will happen is fewer than none. :)

I spent 8 days in Krakow and came home with a cricked neck...obviously through staring up at the lovely architecture...:)

I know- those old cities - hard work:) FISZ is not going to be impressed:) - he only believes in photography:)

As for Mr M's comments about films being made in Poland, why the hell not, they've used Czech republic enough times (and yes the one that was supposed to have been filmed in Slavakia - Hostal - was actually filmed in Czech Rep).....

oh before I forget, there is a Ukranian church near to where I live, if you like I could pop in, parish records or maybe they might be able to track you family down...churches always have connections...if you want to email me the details or I can give you the details....I know what its like tracking family (well actually I'll re fraze that - my brother has been doing our family tree for many years and has found it hard - lots of Irish and a relative about 3 generations ago that was adopted name of Bakon..so not sure where he was from!!)

I agree. Krakow cant compete with Prague for archetecture. But I would still rather go to Krakow than Prague. I liked the fact it does not have a sex industry or stag parties getting paralytic and making a fool of themselves. There are lots of friendly little night clubs and no fear of pick pockets. Krakow is a great city. I felt much more relaxed and safer in Krakow than Prague.

I agee whole heartedly with you on the above, I still love Prauge, but tend to stay on the castle side since the food is better and less brits abroard!...I do however have a bar I love on Jilska that's still off side street enough to avade the brits...but in krakow the clubs were excellent and frendly and not fully of dicks...I really hope it stays that way, I have told male friends (who might want to go on a lads weekend) that they would hate Krakow since its not very lively....lol!!
