1st impressions of poland - Borat on billboards

I came here and saws billboards with Borat in his crazy swimsuit and I thought what kind of country is this? I had no idea who the guy was...

He is the most stupid person. In my opinion, no one should see this movie.

True - and the jokes and the mankini are getting a bit tired now... but he does remind me of some Central Asian Journos that I used to work with :D

what jokes? for us his behaviour is funny but he is just curious because american culture is something completely different from the kazakh one.

Years and years ago, the Borat character did a brilliant send up of some etiquette school in Chelsea.... bloody hilarious.

But the character was dead by the time that the American film came out.

i was just kidding but i found his movie very funny. he's an inteligent guy.

if its any relevance i saw on a huge hoarding attached to a bank frontage in Opole John Cleese advertisement for the same bank :)

my students told me about the john cleese advert. they thought it was funny. monty python is very popular here as well as ello ello

thats the one :) i caught the hording as was passing through Opole actually ...
