z_darius 14 | 3,965 10 Jan 2008 / #3End of summer is a good time, that's when they have the wine festival (winobranie), if they still do.
OP lowfunk99 10 | 397 10 Jan 2008 / #4I might go in the late summer or fall. However, my lady friend might be in Gdansk.
z_darius 14 | 3,965 10 Jan 2008 / #6I dunno. In spring the greenery is still kinda not there.I'm not sure about the vines they used to have in Zielona Gora, but that being one of the attractions (the northermost pplace in Europe where they planted vines) late Summer would be a bit more like it. Also, in Summer they have some kind of music festivals. Worth looking into it too.I lived in Zielona Gora about 15 years.
z_darius 14 | 3,965 10 Jan 2008 / #8Palmiarnia used to be a nice spot for that:palmiarnia.zgora.pl/index.php?do=showart&folderid=21&id=21&lang=ang
z_darius 14 | 3,965 10 Jan 2008 / #10yes, in the midst of a vineyard, all close to the city center. Not that Zielona Gora is that large. The city center is a nice area too. Some shopping, restaurants etc.You can find more on the city's website: eagle.um.zielona-gora.pl/UMEN/
