Development Sites in Zielona Gora

Last week I strayed from my usual Tricity haunts in search of development sites elsewhere. I flew into Berlin and travelled across the border to Zielona Gora and spent a couple of days there. I did view a few sites 2 of which I may proceed with. I thought the pedestrian streets in the city centre were really nice and there did seem to be a good buzz about the place.

I was told that new apartments would fetch 4500 to 5000 zl which is low compared to bigger cities but I was assured site and building costs would be lower. I will ,of course, do my own research but anyone out there know the place and have an opinion ?

So you think that a 100 sqm apartment in Zielona Gora would fetch 500.000 ? That is madness.

Doubt if I would be building 100 m2 apartments. I would think 50 to 65 m2 would be best. I believe that a refurbishment development is asking 4700 zl per m2. I dont know whether they are getting it. The two sites I looked at are much better locations.

Nope. Have a look at average incomes in ZG and do the math. People with the buying power 290.000 would probably be at the age where they would want to build there own house rather than live in a small flat .
