Almost, almost makes me hope we dont qualify for Euro 2012

Hmmm, I wouldn't take it as a given we will anyway....lol

Really looking for a large House with good sized plot, pref primary market but not essential.

Have up to £110,000 cash to spend.

For that amount of cash, unless you look outside of Tri-city in the surrounding towns, for £110,000 you will not get alot, sorry but true. There are lots of flats available and for £110,000 you would get a good new build flat.

just google the following and follow the leads.

czesc... did you try the website mamdom.com yet?

seems like it might be quite useful.... let me know what you find!

the Gdansk area is *beautiful* indeed, and very attractive as a place to live someday, to me as well... :-)

Fish and chips are already in Poland. Had a nice portion in kolobrzeg..
I asked for a pickled egg and mushy peas - did'nt have a clue what I was talking about - I ask you.

What about a London bus cruising the promenade, picking up guests for the hostel/guest house you have just opened??
Looked at that property, looks great. Is it a total rebuild. ie new roof wiring damp course etc
Would a property in that position be safe to leave without getting broken into all the time?

permits stipulate that its a renovation project rather than a complete rebuild... but yes, new roof, wiring, damp etc etc... the permits will also allow for some resizing of the property and it has been suggested that the 2 could be joined [in some way] to form a single larger property

there is also the foundations of another building on the land - this allows for a new build of similar size to be built... the land can be divided and sold as seperate lots, although this will take time

Would a property in that position be safe to leave without getting broken into all the time?

cant say for sure one way or the other but it wasnt an issue that was one of my concerns

the price listed on gumtree is grossly inflated - the initial negotiations i entered into would probably allow for considerable renovation [and maybe some change] for the price

Does look a good spot.
Sorry I am normally use a registered name but have lost my password.
I am off to Poland next week, Firstly my daughter is being christened there, but also to hopefully buy a building plot.
have to decide whether it is quicker and easier to build on an empty plot (or buy a kit house - any links?), Or buy a renovation project,

In my limited building experience in the Uk, it seems it is sometimes more expensive to renovate an old building.
Have just sold a house that iv'e been working on all winter (nearly killed me).
Just hope I have enough energy for the next project -
Can't imagine been able to have a house next to a lake in the uk - not on my carpenters wages anyway..

Seen a couple of sweet properties there.
