Political polls are FAKE and totally manipulate the public!

Political polls are the one of the most evil and manipulative thing that has been invented since Hitler propaganda. They manipulate the public opinion quickly and effectively. It is true especially in the US where the media (owned mostly by the Republicans) feed the public with their "POLLS RESULTS" every day.

Have you ever wondered by who these polls were conducted? Who has actually created the polls, who counted the results? And how do you even know a poll was even created and submitted to more than one person?

When you turn your radio or TV on, the first message you hear: "In the recent POLL X% would vote for Obama, Y% would vote for McCain". I'm asking again, who conducted the poll and who was counting the votes?

Now let me tell you - these poll results are FAKE! The only reason they feed the public with them is to create the news, not to provide it as it really is. They create the news to prepare the public for their scam.

If you notice, right after Obama was selected as a Democtratic nominee, the "polls" weren't fake yet and they showed 60% for Obama, 40% for McCain. In Europe the difference was even more: 80% for Obama, 20% for McCain. Recently, the results in the US MAGICALLY become closer and closer so now they are 50%-50%. What's more, let me tell you, their polls will show about 50-50 until the voting date. Do you know why? To prepare the public for McCain's win (they have already prepared the voting machines to achieve that). Now if McCain wins AND the "polls" have been announcing no major lead of either candidate for a long time, the public will think the elections were done correctly and accept "the fact". Because the public was FED with the fake polls results so that they could in the end accept the scam more easily.

PS. Do you watch "American Idol"? If so, the same scam is conducted there, have you ever SEEN the results on who voted how for a particular performer? No, you only hear: "The America has voted for X". You should know that no actual votes were conducted and a FEW selected people (music and TV producers) select those who go to the next round (because they are supposed to make them money in the future). And the public thinks their vote "counted" for anything. It's pathetic how silly most people could be.

I cannot vote in this country, even so I see no point in voting since the results will only be "announced" to the public and they are already known to the few prominents here.

American Idol = American Elections

so why are you so concerned? If you think that American voters are so manipulated, try telling them:).

I cannot vote, so I am not gonna waste my time getting worried about it.

If pro is the opposite of con then is progress the opposite of congress?

The pollster's answer would be that they are quite reliable (well, they would say that, wouldn't they) They tend to ask a small number of people in areas where there is a strong likelihood of the vote going either way, then take into consideration those areas where it is deemed unnecessary to even bother asking, ie. where the outcome is generally obvious before any real votes will be cast.

Most people's answer to the question of who they will vote for is already decided before even a candidate has been chosen. Most of the remaining voters decide when the candidates have been announced. There are a few swing voters. I suppose these are the people the pollsters are interested in.

Other than the problem of there only being a choice between A and B, thus ignoring C, D, E, F, all the way to Z: there is the problem that people who want power are the least suitable people to actually wield power. Beyond that there is the problem that these people who are elected to hold positions of power are not necessarily the ones who actually wield the most power (but it certainly makes them feel powerful enough for them to feel it's all worth it).

There are many more problems beyond that that I can't be bothered to go into now.

hello

obviously you aren't paying attention. may want to start. all polls are independent and most are scientific. i feel they are valid but i don't necessarily think they actually influence many in the long run.

Polls nowadays are reliable.Period.However they may affect the result when published but I am not sure.I think parties pay attention to polls to plan their strategy and their tools for analysis and predictament are far more advanced than the ones presented in media.

I have to ask, did you get this bit from the "the hitchicker's guide to the Galaxy"?

72% of statistics are made up and 11% of people know it.

Can we have a vote? All those against democracy please type "Aynigly"

all polls are independent and most are scientific.

In Poland it often happens that newspapers supporting certain political party provide polls that fit to their wishes.

i feel they are valid but i don't necessarily think they actually influence many in the long run.

Don't underestimate the influence of polls. Polls are always favorable to the strongest competitors. The best examples are parliamentary elections in European countries. Especially polls published at the end of election campaign highly influence some group of people. According to the theory, in democratic countries people vote according to their views. Polls deform the results, because large group of people start voting on 'lesser evils', sacrificing their true views. I think that representative democracy is a huge scam but even this model practiced in vast majority of countries is far from being optimal. All of this is caused by the lack of proportional ordination, popularity of election thresholds.

Yes.. I think that's from "The Republic".. "those most fit to wield power desire it the least". Something to that effect.
