I live every day in a multicultural world and I assure you it is pure shite.

Let’s clear something up. Immigration in/ of itself is not the problem. The problem is unchecked, mass immigration by lower cultures polluting the native culture. Like the Arabs to England or the Africans and Mexicans to America. These third worlders come in and bring their incivility and their dirty “culture” with them, displacing the host culture. That is the problem and it will have long term consequences if permitted. A few Polish to England or Ireland or a few Irish to England isn’t the problem.

In the rich countries it will be multicultural everywhere once some of them accumulated enough money to move out of the slums into the better parts of town. And maybe than when Mr. CEOs daughter gets raped by a dissapointed drug-addicted alien, they will see what they braught upon us. The only parts left homogeneous will be the parts of the world where the poor live and where there is nothing left to be harvested by the exploiters.

good question but i'd be willing to bet you could go to a few places in this blue planet and not really think to highly of the culture you find there- pun intended. But that'd be quite subjective, in a sense i agree with the spirit of your question but i think it's answerabe albeit subjectively.


to be fair, the majority culture in n.a. is not native to it. I get what you're saying but anglo-european culture is an import that took over. Funny how migration can't be stopped.

I looked all over this thread, and cannot find where I made that claim. If I did, I would retract that statement.

I have no problem with the Irish. I know very few. There are a lot of them in America, but we all are Americans. I know nothing about the Irish attacking London.. I do recall that there was violence by the IRS in Ireland, but ,I am not qualidfied to pass judgement on that subject

I have no desire to get involved in any conflict that the IRA has with England. As far as I am concerned this is a problem between the two of them. A lot of countries fight each other. There is a lot of infighting right here on PF. We all have our thoughts on different issues. If we were to take a vote on the racial issue, I am pretty sure it would come out even. SO, which of us are right? This subject will go on and on, I would like to see cooler heads prevail.

This is funny how people from some countries are so very open and accepting towards multiculturalism. It seems to me that most advocating this here are either from former colonial powers, or the US where they brought multiculturalism in by boatloads - to work on cotton fields. Now they can't get rid of them so they renamed the issue to "multiculturalism"

So many of those multiculturalism efforts outside Poland took place a few hundred years after Poland opened its doors to Jews who had been kicked out by the English, Spaniards and others. It was also a few hundred years after Poland was in a union with Lithuania, inhabited by Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Tatars, Germans, Russians, Czechs, Scots and others who came to Poland for various reasons, religious persecutions elsewhere being one of them.

The notion of race is rather complex. Jewish people can be defined by religion, culture and/or race. Essentially however, my point was that Mrs Sarkozy (to the best of my knowledge) doesn't share the same Hungarian or Greek "ethnicity" as her husband.
