What needs to happen in the world so that Poland and Russia form alliance?

maybe because of that Puta Putin decorated Croatian president Stjepan Mesic, with high ranked Russian medal. Mesic had crucial role in dissolution of Yugoslavia and he is proud follower of German policy in the region

Not really, mister Crow. It was just an economic decision. Germany is stronger than Poland. It's that simple.

Slavic brotherhood

Mr Grunwald! You surely won't believe that there is such a thing as Slavic Brotherhood, do you? It's a myth, it does not exist. We've seen too many examples of this in the past.

Russia allows itself to be subjugated to the US in the world order as key businesspeople benefit. Putin and Bush were not so very different.

Tusk, though no angel by any stretch of the imagination, doesn't stoop that low.

But they are! Actually I don't like Putin so much. I think him as veery indecisive...He always seek each opportunity to esteblish strong alliance with US. I think it is inadmissible strategy. But in the same time it may be a stratagem;

America is inadvertently doing some of his bidding for him, CK. Strong alliance? What planet are you on, CK? Venezuela, Iran and China (Shanghai Group, the latter). Do you think that pleases America?

Are you a Mongol Rus or a Slavic Rus?

Russia & Poland as friends. There's more chance of platting snot! Come on people, that's like Manchester United and Liverpool FC fans having a drink together before the match. Some things will never happen so probably no point tying eh?

Think both...

Did you ever hear about rejected lover? What do you think he shoul do in response?

You love to simplify, CK. International relations has become infinitely more complicated due to certain global events.

Anyway, this is about Poland and Russia. Do you see yourselves as more Slavic than Poland?

Then they will become friends until the war is won, then continue to fight each other. That's the traditional British way...

Outcasts? Crow is here with us, he'll back me up when I say that Poland is more Slavic than Russia is.

Blueboy, right enough. Britain has Scots in the highest positions, Scots who are decidedly Anglified too.

There is no sense. Please tell me how it managed to preserve its purity been the through-passage during so many years in the past? Yes, actually there is no sense in your assertion! There should be only one question to be considered; whose blood is prevailed in polish veins - Russian, German, Swedish or Tartarian... Unambiguously, there is only this question should be examined

I was in the Army for 13 years and always felt confident when working alongside a Scottish Regiment. The Black Watch were my favourites but we still fought each other in the bar every night when we didn't have someone else to fight! That's just the way British people are right? We like to be independent but at the end of the day we rely on our neighbours in a real fight. The problems England and Scotland have bear No resemblance to Russia and Poland - that's just too ****ed up to ever mend.

Polish blood has prevailed!! The Serbs are even more Slavic than you are. You have more Mongoloid denominations, 5 of which are in Siberia I think.

Blueboy, right enough. I did the same with English guys I have met, we did it jokingly though. We are all aware of the history but people are people. There isn't the bitterness like there is between Poles and Ruskies. We are all Brits at the end of the day.

:-)) is it important? Do you remember this top and bottom dilemma? What is the use of your purity if you are object of actions?

I don't believe in purity at all, I just believe you can't call them outcasts.

The question is... What would happen if the planet was invaded by Aliens? Wouldn't we just forget all of the politics, bitterness etc. - get together, blow the fcuk out of the scaly green f**kers and be friends during the process?

The problem is that once it was over, we would just start fighting each other again!

A bit Sci-Fi I know, but get the point?

I'm new to this forum but holy crap people, this forum is HEAVY! Been reading some threads and there are some serious issues here. And I thought Vodka was the drink of friends!

Look at vodka as a guard dropper, blueboy. It's all good until sb starts reeling and losing it. That's when randomness creeps in and people run their mouths.

What part of their history do you have issues with, CK? They have fought invaders and us Scots applaud that. Sorry blueboy, you know what I mean tho. The difference is that most Scots have moved on that bit better.

And always with same result...failure. And now? Look at this! They are rejecting by their beloved America...What a pitty! Do you know, I think it is some kind of karma, to be forsaken...What do you think?

What chances did they have against yourselves and Germany? Virtually none! Still, Poland is here. They haven't been rejected at all. Obama has just reviewed the situation and put it on the back burner for now. He hasn't shelved it completely, it will be used as a tool in the future.

Poland is in NATO, good protection. Russia lost to little Chechnya, LOL.

We have good expression in Russia, it sounds like - Take away noodles from your ears - which loosely may be translated as "You are dupe. Be realistic". Who will belive? Let's be honest, they were sold!

Poland was sold? I believe that, yes, as it was all about business and geopolitical strategy. If there was such a pressing and imminent need for this shield, they'd be pushing America harder to implement it.

No, no, and again no! Persist in your your silly hopes but please don't involve me in its vain wirl. Unfortunately, the main problem with your "democracy" is that it is not allow you to promote any kind of offencive without arising tensions inside the society. Look at AFG and you will see it clearly! Few dead soldiers and you are ready to flee leaving all to the mercy of fate. Here I absolutely agree with Americans, european nations are totally incapable and you need somebody to protect you.

So, the same you will be in case of war inside europe. EU is like melon, kick it and it will come apart.

Well Crow, Poles have closer links to Croatians, both in religion and in ancestry. You know this as well as I do.

CK, you don't have a clue, do you? There were other reasons why troops were pulled out. The unpopularity of the war at home and the lack of commitment to what was tantamount to American bullying of European nations into war. Ever heard of the boycott of all things French? Look it up.

Some melons are tougher than others and Russia wouldn't fare too well against the entirety of the EU.
