Maybe connected with the exceptionally high winds here in the UK today. Gusts of up to 105mph (160 ish KM). The weather system is headed out of the North Sea and going East with real cold winter weather behind it.
At least 7 people killed in the UK today cos of the winds. J
ust got home from my work to find my fence two houses down. Travel chaos on road and rail.
Hi sledz, my pizza guy!!! Haven't seen you around for a while!! Thank you for the pizza again!!! I just spoke with Poland and they say it's raining and very, very windy. Hard to see anything. Wow!
I've been off-line because of the storm. We've just got our power back. The house opposite lost some roof tiles and a shop sign got blown down the street. Those who were outside were walking at a 45 degree angle. Heavy rain and high wind, but we have had worse. What we got wasn't a hurricane but it was bad enough.
looks like the safest place to be might just be the local watering hole, as they are normally older building, think i might have to find a nice warm pub:)
