I believe o2.pl is an Internet portal, but I've seen many Polish people use this as email too: name@op.pl

It's a pretty crappy portal. My friend also had some difficulties in sending me an e-mail to my o2 address.

no problems with tlen so far :) maybe it is little bit overloaded with banners ... but thats all I could complain at ...
when you have an e-mail account on tlen you can use o2.pl, tlen.pl or op.pl domene .... at least thats what I still do remember ...

There is not such a thing as only for Poland emails, u should be able to send from anywhere in the world as it is internet, same with receiving emails if u re not in the country ( as this is not intranet). It is just crap.....I have had it for many yrs but now use it only when it is required to register when u buy stuff and then eshops spam your mailbox. It did happen that emails from my friends were put into spam box( even though their email addresses were on my address list),sometimes emails I have deleted appeared again.....and the site is pretty much an equivalent of any lousy tabloid in terms of content.

o2.pl you can send either to go2.pl, o2.pl or tlen.pl they will go to the same mailbox,
they are experiencing problems now and then

Try using "Tlem.pl" instead of "o2". I had the same problem as you do and it worked. Tlem is Polish for oxygen.

Try using "Tlem.pl" in place of "o2.pl". It worked for me. Tlem is Polish for oxygen.

I have a hotmail account and I can easily send e-mails to o2.pl accounts through it. :)

maybe you should try "tlen.pl" as my email is ___@ tlen.pl and so is my Tlen communicator.

be strange if it doesnt go through as i have friends on this email ending

will I get a message from the hotmail postmaster?

with all emails it will bounce back if not delivered

I have a hotmail account and I can easily send e-mails to o2.pl accounts through it. :)

cant see why not unless its invalid o2.pl address :D

There are 3 domains, try:

xxx@o2.pl
xxx@tlen.pl

Anyway U should let us know what error are you EXACTLY GETTING because now I have no idea how can I support U?

Hi.I have used o2.pl email portal for a really long time and this is the fact, that sometimes a problem occurs but it is not a problem of receiving emails from foreign web sites or sending messages to other portals. the only one sort of problem I have to cope with is loging in. but the matter seems to be quite simple, sometimes it is just overloaded with users. it needs some time, I need some patience...but generally that's all. I have no idea why you can't send your messages...this is weird because it really doesn't matter where you want to send it from...it can be any email web site. regards

o2 is a Polish portal but it can be used by all countries so if you can't send them an e-mail it maybe because the e-mail adress is wrong or someting else is wrong with it

try sending the person you recieved an email from by hitting reply. If you received it is should go back with the same address then just check your sent detail. If you started a new email are you sure you did not mispell the address.Or your mail may be winding up in his/her spam folder. Could also be filter. I send emails to my cousin and it always comes back as not being able to be delivered. She is @wp.pl but if I send her brother an email to his job it is not a problem. Check with your ISP to find out why some are blocked or rather they should.

Several years ago I met and fell in love with a Polish girl while she was visiting here in America. We exchanged email addresses and she urged me to keep in touch. Hers was a o2.pl address and mine Hotmail. But when I tried to email her they would get bounced back as "delivery failures" with no further explanation. And I could find no reason or fix offered online or at the o2.pl site. I know the address she gave me was good because one email finally got through. But the problem continued and we were unable to keep in contact. I have since heard that others have experienced similar problems when trying to email o2.pl addresses from the USA. I never thought in this day that email would be a problem. Had I known I would have insisted upon exchanging other contact info. Technology glitches come with real world costs. Hard lesson learned: Get postal and telephone info. :(
