Polish women are known for their beauty, but men are so ugly (most of)..

t's sadly a fact that if the girl is amazingly beautiful, she might have a nasty personality, or no personality at all, and expect everyone to treat her like a princess.

I would agree with that, its like a 'class' thing, if you have a lot of money you move in different circles, with women its the same for beauty. I'm sure many guys can relate to the story off, She looked so beautiful i was instantly attracted to her, until i started talking with her and realised she was an asshol* :). ITS SO TRUE, you think you've met 'the perfect women' when in fact you've met a nightmare, i guess that will teach people for judging by looks, it did me.

Polish girls all tend to look the same, same sorta clothes, shoes, same haircut and hair colour etc., cos in Poland if you dare to stand out you will get stared at so they still do all that even though they are in UK now. i very often recognise Poles on the street just because of the clothes they wear, or their hair. I love fashion here, i love it how everyone has their own style and they can wear whatever they want, cut their hair however they wish and nobody will look at them with their mouth open.

its part of the reason its so easy to pick out a Polak on the street, you've hit the nail on the head, they all look the same :). Of course there is the Eastern European look but also the points you have mentioned above.

i always stand out on the street in Poland lol, i don't care whats "in" at the moment cos that's what ALL Polish girls will wear. I look foreign over there, eek! lol

personally i think that Polish fashion is crazy crazy, you can tell a polak who has only just arrived to the UK from the ones who have been here for a year or so :):)

i have this thing that when i see someone who is really really bad looking, i feel all sad and i wanna go give them a cuddle. no joke, i'm like this! we were sat in a cafe and this not so handsome geeky guy was walking around looking for free seats. he looked so sad and lonely, i really wanted to ask him to sit with us, but my boyfriend didn't let me! lol.

Its ok I found a seat in the end, my feet were killing me by the way.
I was up for the 'sympathy hug' as well as I could segway it into a 'sympathy grope'.

I knew an old Polish woman who still lives in Radom. Once she said to me in conversation, "'Polish women but German men", perhaps she was right.

LOL . I see Michal is coming back as a prolific poster!

Makes me smile this thread cos the Polish men can' t be that ugly if they are managing to produce 'beautiful' polish women ! Or do some think Polish women grow on trees haha !

:)

I think, on the whole, that Polish men are very ugly indeed. The woman can look nice but then again, look at their mothers and see what they too will look like in twenty years time! I think that some Polish women grow under a bush!

then you could get a punch in the nose, but with no sympathy ;)

Mind you, I was in Tesco the other day and had a prescription for my son. I went back with my slip of paper only to be met by a charming young Polish pharmacist who asked me in Polish for confirmation of name and address to get the medicine. Some are nice, some not. Probably the middle class are nicer than the council flat tenants of Radom!!

……Beauty what a subjective topic, or is it? Well, if one particular look is positively reinforced, e.g., through advertising then maybe we will have a predisposition towards it. Polish girls are the buzz at the minute, not necessarily in the media so much but on the streets, this forum is filled with comments regarding their beauty. But the poor Polish man seems to have been somewhat overshadowed by his female counterpart.

I personally have seen some very attractive Polish girls, but then us women tend to spend more on our appearance than men….we dye our hair, wear makeup, paint our nails and so on, these things will inevitably make us appear more attractive…..what I am trying to say is that most of the Polish guys that I see are not as groomed as the Polish women (remember this is in my experience), however, I have seen some very attractive Polish men myself with beautiful blue eyes that have got me wishing and hoping!

Equator is right on about the grooming difference. I think Polish guys are actually quite handsome and noble in appearance, some just uglify themselves when they shave their heads like a soccer hooligan and wear those adidias pants. If they got back in touch with their elegant roots, you could appreciate the attractive, refined masculinity underneath (that's way more than I can say about the blokes elsewhere *hint hint*). Also, I haven't noticed the baldness thing, but Poles are generally on the sparse end of body hair.

That being said, Polish women are stunning, and I think the trend to don the trashy post-commie look, when everything "western" was touted as awesome, is dying. The men are, I think, slowly catching up. Polish women do not have big butts as they have slim hips. The butts just aren't flat, they're 'plump'. One thing I've noticed though in the UK and US is that, in addition to being uninspiring, the women there are more likely to wear pijama-like clothing outside of the house, looking like they rolled out of bed. This was normal for me until I visited Poland, and came back. Also, I think Germans are *on the whole* unattractive.

So there you have it! :)

Yep, I was on the bus coming home on Friday and this guy (early 20is) was on the phone behind me he must have said kurwa about 40 times....amusing thing was there was an older guy (late 40is early 50is) sat in front of me who shook his head every time the guy said it...I guess it's more of a generation thing...same as the UK with kids that say fcuk every other word.

What does that mean - (or is it rude?)

fcuk

apparantly its all to do with the tone and context of how you say it as to whether its bad or not, thats what Ive been told anyway :)

I actually thought it was on a par with "damn"

It's stronger than damn. It can be used as a comma. Sapphire is right, it depends on the intonation.

Yeah, like a speech break.

So Polish is somewhat different to English then because if I used a profanity as a pause (I could have put paws then just for your amusement but Im sure the porn...pawn experience was enough.....:) ) it wouldn't be polite to say the least.

It is different. It's one of those ubiquitous words that comes from simple minds. Kurwa and porn go hand-in-hand

I certainly don't want to hear it too often, but I've never heard it...I learnt the K word from my friend who reckons I say it quite well.......nothing to be proud of I know....

By the way I asked him for the Polish translation......of the English F and B word....out of curiosity you understand.

the polish accent probably does sound more refined than the average Brummie.. and I can say that since its my homeland. My Polish partner now speaks English like a true Midlander, thanks to my tuition.. how nice is that. :)

that happens to both sexes regardless of age or nationality.

Also some women have to put up with jerky men all their lives and it takes a toll on their looks. If somebody is a pain in the butt and the person is married to them, it makes them as miserable looking as their other half after years of struggle.

Those men that are concerned with physical beauty are not worth a penny. Long after beauty fades the person remains.

Get used to it, no one lives forever and Dorian Gray was just a story.
