Is it possible to be friends with girls in Poland?

Very good comment Wyspi, being Polish urself gives it even more credibility.

Yup. Open your eyes people! Big part of polish girls are mostly the same cheap dolls like in every other nation. Maybe even cheaper since they live in some crazy jungle ghetto place lol :D So anyway, if you were rich plus you were a foreigner, you wouldn't have any problems with FINDING a girl here, even though they don't speak English haha. For them body language and prize is worth, not conversation with you.

Thank you, I make the same mistakes over and over..

no worries, you are doing well

I'm not doubting u Wyspi but why do u think many Polish girls see a rich foreigner as a prize? It may seem like a stupid question but it would be nice to know what u think. Body language, język ciało is about luring/enticing a guy, as well as other things.

Thank you, but I don't need flattery because I'm not. I need a teacher really.

Aha, u mean they value money as a catch, I c Wyspi. Let me ask u this then Wyspi, how do u know if sb TRULY loves u? What'd make u sure about tying the knot? (getting married)

lol Seanus, it's stupid question without context. I was talking about girls for one night, they are not worth either love or marriage.

Given that so many marriages end in divorce Wyspi, I don't think it is such a stupid question. Too many people think that their partner loves them and, bang, it's all over, how wrong they were. So, u'd just jump into marriage Wyspi, without considering the factors and why u r doing it? I'm not the first person to ask about true love btw, lol

I'm sure about my situation and it's not my problem when someone losts love lol

True love means commitment, sacrifice and sharing eachother in every way of the word. It works both ways. If it's right, then it should be that when you give, you should also recieve.

It's all about the effort.. both partners are willing to put into it. It also means you must be able or willing to forgive and be patient sometimes. Through both thick and thin, through both good and bad times..

Unfortunately, some people expect it to be instant-happiness or something. A few setbacks or disappointments and they call it a quit..

I believe it is different to have female friends in your won country where you have so many things in common with those girls, such as culture, politics and hobbies, common events and such.

When one goes abroad, you encounter people which whom you have less in common for obvious reasons. I don;t see it as a problem at all and I cannot see women forcing or pressuring you to have sex with them, unless you are giving them signals to do so.

Thanks.. this is an answer I hoped to get... Do I have to explain more about my intentions.. ;)

PS:
In my country there are no problems beeing friends with girls... even if we come from different sosial settings, different level of education etc..

I don't believe in steely friendship between a man and a woman

lol that's the condition. Just drive with your fresh washed car around the city playing techno as loud as you can, look around and chose girl you like the most. Though they all look the same. Plastic dolls with fuckking long nails and trashy, cheap gold clothes on lol. Good luck and welcome in Poland.

true true true

Agree 100%. All my closest friends are female, and I have never/will never sleep with any of them...oh ok, you've twisted my arm, there is one, but I know she doesn't fancy me (I'm just not here type) so it's never going to happen.

The key is probably to have same-sex friends who you know you will never find sexually attractive. I know a lot of the women on here won't believe me, but I'm one of those rare men who WON'T just sleep with anything.

I have a number of male friends and we are just friends. I give them advice on relationships and they enjoy talking to me about lots of things - like T.V. programs and news, pets etc. It's nice to relax with both male and female friends and enjoy the odd glass of wine/ beer what ever. But I don't know about Polish people because I'm not from Poland but I don't suppose they're much different.

It's funny, I had this polish friend, a girl, whom I worked with while I was an ex-pat from Canada for two years. We only talked at work in the beginning but eventually went out for some drinks or the restaurant after work from time to time. Anyone seeing us could easily have mistaken us as a couple, a guy and a girl eating and drinking together. She was very attractive but she said she had a boyfriend from out of town. I always wondered if she was attracted to me or if she just wanted to make her boyfriend jealous, but in any case, i never put the moves on her: I also had a girlfriend back home. But I've been wondering if she was interested, would she have put the move on me, or are polish girls more traditional: waiting for the guy to take the first step?

My reasoning is that it's probably not that different from here, but then again, foreigners seem to agree that girls where I'm from (Quebec) are easier than most Canadian and American girls, and are more agressive: taking the first step when they want. So if that girl was like girls from Quebec, I would conclude she wasn't that interested afterall, but I have a feeling she might have been waiting for me to make a move...

Well I'm from the UK and I wouldn't make a move on a guy if he told me he had a girlfriend. I would enjoy the friendship and wait and see what happened. Maybe she did really like you and wanted you to show her how you felt.

if that's what happened, it's frustrating as I broke up with my girlfriend upon my return ... oh well, next time perhaps.

I'm supprised that some polish girls talk so badly about other polish girls... Is it some kind of "I'm better than all the rest" syndrome? ;) Don't forget you are polish girls too, so somebody can mark you as one of those stupid and easy w**** some day...

I think there are girls who go after money in every country, not only in Poland. And I will even risk it and guess that some of them learnt that way of living from all those american movies etc.

I don't know what kind of friends you had here, but I know many girls who are smart and not looking for the money, not talking about shopping all the time, etc. and I think you only talk about some group of women. Maybe I don't know many of them, because I don't want too, but for sure I still have many girl friends, so please don't try to convince people, that most of the polish women are cheap, dumb and easy...

drifter I guess you will never know... The only way to be sure is to try ;) Maybe she wanted something more and maybe not... Still many men tend to confuse friendly gestures as something more. You didn't try so now you can only wonder ;)

trashy, cheap gold clothes

It's amazing how difficult it is trying to find a gold lame shirt on the internet.
Should I ask for a translation into Polish, or would I only find ladies clothes in this colour?
