Sort your **** out, you didn't love her you had a shag and thought you did, even so chuffed as to go and brag to all your friends about it. Attempt to save your marriage, and If it fails well your on your own.

Polish girls are brutal, after a 4 year relationship me and my polish girl decided to go to South Africa. I left after a 4 week stay with her in Poland and she would follow after 3 months. I left all was good between us, even got a engagement ring. After a month she just decided SA was not for her, so I was willing to go back and settle in Poland, but nooooo. Sold her mobile number without telling me, blocked me from her e-mail.

I lived in Netherlands the past 4 years of our relationship and a lot of people warned me about polish women. By this then, Guys of the world, be warned!! Even after a long relationship, polish girls don't give a **** about you, only how they can use and manipulate you.

My relationship is in ruins. Let's blame the girl. After all it could never be me.

Sort yourself out.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you live. It is a fact of life that some of us get dumped at some time. It's not nationality specific.

Polish girls are brutal

That is such a racist remark. I am English and I would be most insulted if people said "English girls are all *******" or some such stupid comments, which is basically what my ex-boyfriend, a Polish man, used to say about Polish women. People are people wherever you go, nationality does not define how a person behaves within a relationship. Fact.

It is right to say that because a Polish women treats you badly during a relationship then all Polish women are to be avoided that is plain nonsense. Having said that there have been a number of threads ( mine included) of non Polish men meeting a Polish women in say the UK and everything going great then all of a sudden they become cold and distant. I do not draw any conclusions from this particularly. The reason I joined this forum was to try and learn more about Polish women to try and understand her change of attitude. Although each situation was different to mine it did help to read them. As It happens we now live together and are very close although we are not back to where we were and I doubt we will. She relocates soon anyway. It has been an experience!

Then why did so many people in Holland warn me about "polis girls"? I could have returned to SA a lot earlier, but stayed for her.

Unfortunately they seem to have build up quite a reputation in Holland, don't know in England

What is their reputation in Holland. Also could you have moved to Poland if she could not move to Holland.

There is something nice and captivating about young Polish girls. They have a childish laugh and smile, a magnatism often lacking in English women. I can see why English men want to do CELTA and go out East, hoping to find love before they are picked up by other home grown Polish men There is a great cultural divide though, they are certainly not as advanced as other western girls developing maturity later in life than English girls. I would imagine that often a polish woman going with a foreigner means that they are looking for something as most of them are fixed up very early on in their lives. Mind you, I knew of a family in Gdansk who were married many years and had two children before they divorced years and years later and there was a huge age difference between them. They were both Polish. I have known of many Polish girls meeting Dutch men and moving to Holland. Mind you, Polish girls will go anywhere if it suits them as they are very adaptable. Make sure you know the woman for a long long time before committing yourself and see how they behave when they are in a bad mood! There are some real cows out there so beware!!

..wonder if that is a typical Polish thing ?

I think it can be a common thing between all sorts of couples everywhere and not only in Poland.

Unfortunately they seem to have build up quite a reputation in Holland, don't know

You must also remember that they are like animals trapped in a cage for the last fifty years. Now they have their freedom but do not understand that capitalism too has its price to pay. Polish girls coming from the countryside have little money and therefore they have little to loose themselves so do not care much for other's broken hearts. The Dutchman will end up selling his house, the girl only her body!

I think these Polish women like to befriend men in the country they are in and I have to say use them to their advantage. In my case I have helped her find a job, take her out and now she lives with me. She has used my feelings for her

Women also - would prefer to play the field and take the best one. This is perfectly natural - it's just how they do it.

19 year old barely out of school, just a child - 40 year old adult should know better, hardly a level playing field

I'm sure she knew exactly what she was doing. Yes some girls prefer older men
because they are usually more mature and have better control over their feelings. Older men also usually know how to treat a women. Older men often get seduced by younger women. A 40 year old man seeing a 19 year old girl is not disgusting - just unusual.

It's also difficult to comment if you have not had an affair before - or been seduced because you could not understand the emotions involved. These are humans remember. It's never always by the book.

Polish girls coming from the countryside have little money and therefore they have little to loose

You make them sound like hookers.
These girls have more dignity and integrity than most western city girls.

Spoken like a true mysogynist! Unbelievable how little respect you have for those women, it's repelling. Especially that no women could beat MEN in being more slutty and double faced in terms of sexual morals. I'm only using a generalization for men here because women are generalized by Michal, I obviously don't think that men are all the same.

I'm only going by my experiences of Polish women in Ireland here, I cannot comment for Poland, but a lot of those words do hit home.

A lot of us like to be romantic and imagine x,y and z.
Unfortunately, there are some cold hard facts behind the romance despite our best intentions.

I think I've been blessed by God with the woman I have, friends of mine have not been so lucky (Polish or not)!

To be fair to Polish women here, I should also clearly state that I see huge numbers of Polish men abroad who have wives and children at home, cheating as though they were alone in the world.

It doesn't seem to bother them much, its sport to them.

In my case she is 38.

You make them sound like hookers

There are a lot of Polish women now working as escorts in the UK. In fact there are UK web sites which specialise in providing Polish women as escorts. The British escorts are annoyed because the Polish escorts charge substantially less.

Actually, we stayed on the Costa Del Sol in Spain in April and there in the hotel was a freeby newspaper for the local area. I remember reading the private ads section and at least one Polish girl was offering services and some Russians too so I imagine that they will go anywhere where money is to be made.

Any woman who is away from her own country will act differently to when in her native country. no one knows you in a foriegn country. besides why is it that if a woman is promiscuous she is called bad names where as a man behaving in the same way is seen as a hero...... this has always bugged me.. it is not fair

I do not think it is right to stygmatize polish women...i have heard that british women abroad are a bit loose with their morals...what is so different

Some good points.

I think someone posted here or perhaps it was another forum, that people in Greece think the English are all insane alcoholics, because when they are on holidays they are drunk and dancing on tables HAHAHA

I reckon the Irish would probably dance on the tables if they could but they're probably drunk passed out in some gutter somewhere :-)

Merged: MY POLISH LOVE IS GOING HOME

well, I have been in love with him now for six months, I don't know if he feels the same (I think he does) but he is going home next month - I feel do depressed about it - each morning I wake up it dawns on me that he wont be here soon. We will keep in touch with each other and I am going to stay with him for Christmas etc, but I just cant stop crying. I have asked him his feelings but all he will say is that he must go back to Poland as he is so homesick. It's the right decision for him, but he is thinking about me all the time and that his decision has not been an easy one because of me. Do long distance relationships work - anyone had the same situation?????

Do long distance relationships work -

Yes they do. The difference is that you are not physically with that person and that is something you have to adjust to. But you can have a lot of fun by e-mailing, texting, calling, writing, sending packages and keep that person next to you in your heart, and sometimes it's good to be seperated because through yearning for one another your love grows stronger.

I find myself in a similar situation. My girlfriend has been back in Poland for 3 weeks now. Her not being there when I wake up is very hard to cope with! We talk on the phone a few times a week, but we don't communicate too well on the phone.

e-mailing, texting, calling, writing, sending packages and keep that person next to you in your heart

sounds like sensible advice.

I am going to stay with him for Christmas etc,

I plan to move to Poland, so perhaps my situation is slightly different. Until that time I am in a long distance relationship and have to try to make the most of it.

my guy is back in poland now. its not easy to communicate in this long distance way. he hopes to be back in england within the next month-but not knowing excatly when causes anxiety. you can only say so much in a phone call and text-you end up over texting and repeating yourself. i dont think distance relationships fair well in the long run
