Getting Engaged in Wroclaw, Poland - Need Location Ideas.

Hey all, new here.

I will be getting engaged in October when we travel to Wroclaw for a two week vacation. We both live in Canada and I wanted to propose to her in her birth town. I have never been there before and her sister has limited memory of any good places to go. Her parents will know where to do it, but as you will read below they're unavailable until the end of Sept.

Her parents are from Poland, and although I am going to ask for their permission, they are currently in Poland on vacation/business. I will be getting the ring next week and need some ideas on nice places on proposing in Wroclaw (preferably with minimal people around - she doesn't want a "scene"). I would ask her parents all these questions but before I ask permission, I want to have the ring. They won't be back until the end of Sept., so I need some ideas before I approach them with the permission question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ostrow Tumski by night :) It's a very old part of Wroclaw, the cathedral is right there, the river is right there, a beautiful little park with benches, lights, a lot of people actually wed there, the scenery is very picturesque, she'll love it :) Romantic, a bit mysterious surroundings, really nice ....

Probably not a church, since we'll only be getting engaged not married.

Yeah!!! That's a great suggestion, too!!! That would be my number 2 or 1. Both these places are great and romantic :)
