PolskaDoll, she is only 17 by all accounts and you imagine when you were her age, anyone who was above 25 was a dinosaur lol
And saying, "I feel sick reading this thread" is only a testament to her age :)

I can't remember that far back... ;)

Well, maybe the next few years will change her mind about this thread... :)

Age difference in dating in Poland?

Ok. So I like this Polish guy that's very much older than me. What would you say would be the max. age difference in Poland?

The question is does he make you happy, and you him, if the answer is yes, then age should not come into it.

Age really is just a number.

Unless of course hes like 70+ and youre 30- then peolple will think its a money thing, has he got money?

Ah Sod, what folk think - in this short life happiness is the only thing that counts.

go for it girl:) folk could also think its because he has a big willy :)

Well, the age difference is DEFINITELY not that huge. And yeah, he has money, but that's not the point why I want to be together with him. Yeah, I know that kind of age difference- it mostly only goes on for celebrities- it's usually about the fame or fortune.

My last partner was 17 years younger than me, we spend 10 happy years together before he passed away, he was six years older than my son from my first marriage. My latest squeeze is 12 years my junior. I'm not famous, just happy.

My friends husband is 16 years older than her - they are happy, another ones hubby is 19 years older than here, they are happy.

Divide your age in half and add 6, if it's over you're ok. If not, you're a creeper.

no, you don't know anything about me... I am only a little girl for you but I'll tell you something: only such "dinosaurs" are appropriate to my feelings and my needs, and in fact I am not interested in boys who aren't older than me... and I think that age doesn't mean much when people love each other, it is an individual decision, people are different and have different needs, preferences, minds..... and maturity isn't the matter of age, although people obtain it with another years and experiences... so for me for example 10 years gap doesn't pose a big problem and nobody should deplore the couple's choice. Of course 20 years are thought-provoking and can be a physical barrier, it is an obvious thing and the mind should be over the heart, but I really understand f.e. Babi, because as Justysia said, older men may give us what is irreplaceable. And for me there is no discussion. That's my opinion, Ukpolska.

I would much rather date a girl who's up to 5 years older, Most younger girls I have met just seem to unable to hold a decent conversation.

20 is the minimum age I think is acceptable and 28 the maximum, I'm 23 so right in the middle.

There is a 13 year age gap between my mother and stepfather and they have been married for 20 years happily and never seem to argue. Age difference matters when you are my age but not as you get older imo
