Personal issues with two women, they want to be my friend - a Polish thing?

That's why posted, it just seemed so ludicrous two young doctors might be attrracted to someone in thier 50's.

you must have one hell of a brain mister

That's why I thought it might a cultural issue.

or maybe not...?

I've now got a Polish girlfriend 20 years younger than me :-) and she's the nicer one personality wise.

definitely not

That's why I thought it might a cultural issue.

it is. they want a rich older boyfriend who will do all sorts of useful things for them, and make them feel looked after, and buy them presents. they don't want to waste themselves on sexy younger guys who will just use and abuse them, treat them mean (not to keep them keen - just because they can't be bothered to treat them nicely), and be unfaithful to them, regardless of how beautiful or lovely or devoted the girls are. They have learnt, either by observation, or the hard way, that a guy who considers himself v lucky to be with a girl treats her better, much better, than a young buck who thinks he's doing her a favour. I'm sure there's something personal about it, too - you must be a nice guy, and attractive. What you have found a pleasant surprise, i guess, is that your age is in their eyes an advantage.

enjoy : )

They both say that want to be friends, and friends only and that's ok with me - but they don't act like friends,

Actually, since you said there's no hint of anything sexual, it does sound like that's all these two want, a friend to go out and do things with. They sound like nice friends, btw. Sometimes men hate that women only want to be friends. Sometimes that's all we want, a friendship.

Ive been around a while and managed friendships (including long term dance partnerships) with women quite succesfully - but then again, the women didn't phone me up at work to say they were lonely and they were missing me.

That's way beyond friendship. . . . .there are rules. . . .

hmm, I'm trying to be friends with a Polish girl and it's tough, she keeps making harsh comments since she rejected me, as I considered more with her. Generally laughing at me, while saying I'm a good friend. Really hate to say there are similarities with these Polish girls, but of course just coincidence, right? Never had any real problems like this with English girls, and a German girl I went out with. All were great and caring, and able to communicate. This girl ignores me when she feels like and just generally makes me feel confused. She's admitted she's a Polish princess, and picky. Ha, I can only laugh or cringe....

first woman

This relationship is interested in taking it to the next step.

this time she pushed her telephone number under my hotel room door

That was a cue that night to pursue it...
If your both interested and still contacting each other; move forward.

another girl, in a fairly unpleasant situation

I did the father daughter thing, got her sorted out

This is just that. Decide if you want that drama and maintenance?

Just because you went out with the two women, it does not mean that you are entitled to sleep with them. Women are the same everywhere . These two women happen to be Polish. To them, you are just a nice chump, or is it a chap, as the British would say. Ta ta

:)

Your superior intellect shines. Putting women into a mathematical equation. In polish we have a name for brilliant individuals as you, grecki filozof. Holy Cow!

I just pissed off the Greeks.

Albanaich,

Wow.

Like RevokeNice said, shall we draw you a map?

Listen, girls don't randomly call guys up and say things like "I miss you" unless they WANT TO BE PHYSICALLY INTIMATE!

I cannot believe you are 55 years old and you need us to explain this to you. (I am not insulting you, I am just incredulous)

From all you've told, you're obviously doing everything "right" with the girls, and whether or not you were TRYING to attract them sexually is regardless of the fact that you HAVE done so!

They want you to be their "always and forever". If you cannot deliver, then resist any urges you might have, because everyone will end up badly hurt. But if you think you might want to date them then DO IT and quit asking about it on an online forum where you're more likely to get responses from guys who don't know sh*t about women, besides what their mommy told them.

People don't realize,...just how desperate the world of women is for real men.

Well, there is a half-truth there. Enduring some of the whims and wants takes a bit of doing ;)

That's way beyond friendship. . . . .there are rules. . . .

what rules? rules are of rulers who are not easily reachable by phones at works.

since last year, i destroyed all rules, called her at work zillions of times. tried to reach the monster, but, he was hiding himself behind the female dogs and male gorillas? i dont know what i have been trying to do... ?

anyway. i can say this to you. 20-30 years age difference is nothing.
they will say this "love is ageless thing", they may say this even though they dont believe this, but, it is true, "love is really ageless thing." if this wasnt true, there would be no single marriage in the world. no rule has been put on age difference. no rule has been put how long any person will live. live good. (if you still complain about their timeless calls, you send them smses frequently that will make them unsure about your wealth or health.)

Put yourself a chastity device so they will not be able to seduce you.

Honestly, whoever thinks that there can ever be a true "friendship" between a straight man and a straight woman is smoking some crazy crazy stuff.

well that's what i'm about to try. She rejected me, but I'm going to attempt to be friends, if i manage it, wouldn't she be able to? Only girls I could really be friends with in the past was those that i wasn't attracted to, this will be different

what will you do after rejection? once you fall in rejection collection - you'll be an antique.
no discouraging. just trying to learn. if silence means rejection, it is hard to reapproach for me.
