Polish interracial dating

Listen, Jose, this forum is not a very representative for Polish people, really.
I have been living in Warsaw all my life (with short breaks for travelling ).My whole family is from Warsaw from at least 4 generations back.

I know this city and the people here.
Please, come here and visit or even stay, if you want and do not worry about some posts on here.
Before you are visiting Poland, check all immigration rules for American citizens.
And yes, Latino and Spanish culture is a big trend here now, so u may come in the right time.
All my female friends go to salsa or flamenco classes, instead of fitness or swimming pool.

Many people will tend to show it as a fascination with "exotic look/ dark-skinned guy".They will also point out that we do not have too many African/dark-skinned people here in Poland. And it's not true, because here where I live in Poland , we always have had people from many countries, even during communists times . I live in Saska Kepa in Warsaw and I'm 26. As a small girl I had "mulatto" friends in a kindergarden and in primary school. There was this family living "in the block"next door, that have three kids, all of them my friends. Mother was Polish, father was African, a doctor. We all were playing well with other kids from our area, no hate ...

I think people who wasn't there, never will understand and accept that my relationship and children are in this world out of a big and true love . I also don't see a skin colour in my boyfriend. Yes, he is a very handsome man, which is sometimes not too good , since other women find him interesting :) However, he doesn't seem "exotic" to me.

Actually, he seems very close. We are really very similar. We hold the same values and opinion on many things. Once, somebody from Cuba said to us-"Oh, you look alike", and it wasn't a joke !

Maati...good points, people in Poland are naturally conservative...new ways of doing things, interacting with other peoples etc have yet to become common place, Polish people will have to open their minds to other concepts the way the EU ( UK, Ireland, Denmark ) have opened their own borders for them to come and work.

Returning Polish people will "seed" the nation with new ideas, theories, openess not seen before, it will take time.

On the one hand everyone loves new things...on the other, they are scared/suspicious..only natural....but things will become different......hopefully for the better....

I live in a big Indian community, lots of Sikh people and they tend to stick together more than anyone I know when it comes to marriage and so on........but for the most part they are very pleasant people, obviously there are some idiots, but they are hard working and very motivated...........they haven't hurt me in any way but they tend to stick to their own people, so is it wrong for what they are doing???..........the fact that they wouldnt be thrilled about a black or white person marrying their so or daughter doesnt make them a bad person, or evil or something.........maybe their culture has lots to do with ethnic pride and that they are all from the same region..........it doesnt mean they dont do other good things like donate blood and charity for the entire community........

the point is that both sides should be nice to each other, but it isnt a universal right for everyone to agree on this issue.......... some people just see ethnicity as a big part of culture and some don't........the end.........


Polish people are especially weary of change and changes in social dynamics, its more to do with trust than being scared.........we've been ****** over many times in the past, even by our own allies and not just from ww2, but in general.........that is the reason for that particular type of mentality among some of our people..........

Frank, I agree your idea. But, as far as I feel (or have experienced), older Polish people seem more conservative than the younger generation. It always occurs to me that the younger generation is more inclined to people from other communities. My opinion.

Finally... this forum tells alot about Poland (I think). We do have people like Matek and Guest3... and also people like Maati and Marek and Frank... but, the vast Polish Majority is with people who were never racist...from anytime in history.

It is my sincere belief that Polish people have the most beautiful heart in Europe. And this heart has never been defeated...and never will be.

I have answered all the questions started. There is no use talking to a racist. Calling an entire race of people inferior because they have different phenotypes and genotypes is absurd. A true superior mindset doesn't ramble on about bloodlines, how the white race is superior and other drivel. Superior minds don't put down those they perceive as lacking but aid them to rise up to the occassion.

Its a known fact that India, China, Africa and other so called "inferior races" made many contributions to mathematics (algebra - the Arabs) , science (astronomy- Mayans) , medicine (ayurvedic holisitic practices, invasive surgery - India). The list goes on and on.

The world is intertwined and many of the fair white European nations or their progeny like America depend on the "inferior races" for financing. Who do you think has enabled the Americans to continue on their debt binge if it weren't for the Chinese and Japanese who buy up all those T-bills and gov't bonds?

Interracial Dating - Canada - Poland

I am new to the site and it is great! I am surprised by the variety of topics on here..... I notice quite a bit about interracial dating, etc. and I think it is really interesting.

I am a Canadian guy (Polish background) and live in an area with alot of recent Polish immigrants. I notice alot of the recent Polish immigrants go out with people of different backgrounds. I notice that there are a great deal of Polish women in our area have black boyfriends, black kids, etc. My cousin is actually going out with a great Jamaican guy.

Personally, I think it is great and I don't object at all. Just wondering if this is a trend in Poland as well, or is something to do with Canada's multicultural experience.

I have to say that I don't find white guys attractive at all. I'm a white girl (russian/polish) and I find asian and black guys much sexier than white guys. Oh well, it's unusual i guess. The reason why I like asians is because i like metrosexuals. They don't find anything shameful about taking care of their looks which I like a lot <3

the few russian girls that live in my town are into black guys...i'm guessing it might not be that unusual, lol.

There have been some fascinating insights expressed in this thread, I’d like to contribute my 2 cents (euros?).

Having dated women from many different cultural and racial backgrounds, I think there is a lot to be said about status. Our partner, to some degree affords us with status, whether you are aware of this consciously or not. I just completed my masters in IR at the LSE, run my own educational charity and have a flat in central London, I still find it interesting that the white female underclass actually look down on me wherever I go. Before I’m accused of sour-grapes, I’m not talking about dating-scenarios, I mean just ordinary conversational exchanges in which they are frequently shocked that I speak better English than them, don’t eat dog, and eat food with a knife and fork. I attribute this, somewhat cynically I admit (yet based on observation) to the fact that the white underclass in the UK, in spite of their ignorance, look down on people of colour no matter what their status or achievements. You could be a top international human rights lawyer, to many of them your just a wog. Please note the difference between the underclass and the honest working classes of Britain.

Why do Polish women or white women in general on council estates chose black partners? A lot of it has to do with having something exotic and different yes, but status wise, it’s a step up for a black guy on an estate to get a white girlfriend (no matter how ragged). For the woman, it shows her ability to exercise choice (or perhaps lack of choice given the demographics on estates?). In western society, it is generally not a step up in status for a white guy to take a non-white girlfriend. It suggests that he can’t find one from his own kind. I have often noticed in London, that some quite good looking athletic black guys are with in my view, rather plain looking white women. My point is status has a lot to do with balancing our choice of partner. Plenty successful black or non-white guys have stunning white girlfriends, many rich white guys will marry foreign models, actresses or just good looking foreign women. They are exercising greater choice based either on their status.

By now, quite a few of you should be outraged and indignant at what I’ve suggested, and the points I’ve made about status is by no means axiomatic, there are always other factors involved. Yet I can confidently say that around the world, status is afforded according to the following criteria: race, wealth, nationality, physical appearance. Generally speaking, anywhere in the world, a white guy has the highest status and is rightly or wrongly treated as such. This does NOT mean that white men do not get rough treatment now and then, but far less than non-whites. I lived in Japan (Kyoto) for 3 months, and I can confidently say that the “Gaijin” (white westerners) have markedly higher status than us “Gaikokujin” (non white foreigners). Moving onto the next criteria, if your rich (and demonstrably so) you obviously will attract attention from women, this is true all over the world. If you are not white, but are a national of a prosperous western nation, then you will have more status outside your nation in the eyes of women from non-western nations. Therefore an unemployed poorly educated white woman in the UK might not give you the time of day, compared to women outside the UK who might find you exotic, provided they are aware of your nationality, and that you were not born in the bush somewhere in Africa/Asia.
