Why are Polish girls constantly ill?

Problems with the heart, allergies, headaches, skin problems, abdominal pains, weight gain, they have all kinds of medical problems, whether young or old

wow that's some list of excuses from girls who didn't wanna have sex with you

As for myself, i'm hardly ever sick and i only ever see doctors for check ups. All those illnesses you listed might be stress related but i know people use them to get away with not going to work and it's not just the Poles and not just the women. I mean what about man flu huh? I get headaches and skin problems occasionally but it's not a big deal is it? Heart problems and tummy ache can be indigestion, and weight gain, well, too much chocolate perhaps?

I think a lot is due to the fact that as youngsters Polish kids are wrapped in cotton wool by parents/grandparents, taken to the doctors over anything from a grazed knee to the slightest rash! And as a result there immune systems are not allowed to develop naturally hence the level of sickness in later life.

pardon my French but what a load of bull! you've obviously been to England, almost every kid here is allergic or asthmatic (if not overweight) and grown ups are not much better either. why do you think every product has allergy advice written all over it? "milk chocolate, warning: contains milk" duh! i think Poles are much better off and i don't think they're that bad compared to the Brits who basically live off their illnesses on incapacity benefits, fake back ache or psychological traumas just to avoid work. i couldn't help but laugh when i read your comments about Poles being 'wrapped in cotton wool' or having weak immune systems, that is so not true.

I think women are too busy to visit doctors quickly. I think women should pay attention to her body and go to doctor quickly.

I think women are working too much at work or home or farms. They do have to take care of their children which is very difficults for her to do.

now this sounds so much more like Polish women, staying at home with the children and taking care of the household is just as hard or even harder then setting off to work for a few hours a day, but no that's not enough is it.

complaining

it is the favourite national activity in Poland ha ha. i find that Polish people like to moan about how bad they feel but they won't be running to the doctor every single time, they'd rather try and cure it themselves. it's usually the lonely babcias who spend their days in surgery waiting rooms because they have nobody to talk to back at home.

the amount of Aptekas (pharmacies) is amazing

gotta say i love Aptekas, all the little gems you can get there...

and we eat alot its just fast metabolism :)

This must be a Polish thing, because although I'm not a girl, I'm Polish, and I must eat 5000 calories a day sometimes, yet my body just doesn't seem to allow me to exceed 92kg. And even if I hit 92kg, it doesn't take me long to get back to 86kg (a much better weight for me), and I don't even need to "diet" :D

wow that's some list of excuses from girls who didn't wanna have sex with you

But EVERYONE wants to sleep with him, remember? ;)

There is a reason why there can be one Apteka in almost every block in Polish cities.

tbh I can't understand how they stay in business over here, either - I live in a district of 15000 people, and we have three! That's one for every 5000 people. Which must mean we have 100 pharmacies in this town. Surely we aren't that ill?? :0

i weighed a cool 56kg for the last 3 years, it changes a little depending on how much i eat but i don't have to diet. i apparetly look like i weigh even less, i'm quite petite. plus when i get stressed out i can't eat, bonus! lol... i avoid white bread, crisps and chocolate, but i have a very soft spot for pizza (with ketchup yeahhh) and curry mm mm.

In my case... 1000 calories of healthy food, 4000 calories in cakes... my best mate thinks all Polish people live on cakes, and can't understand why I don't look like Tony Soprano, LOL :)

And my cholesterol levels are only borderline (in fact, thay were higher 6 years ago). We must have some sort of special, secret, Slavic cholesterol-busting gene. I should be dead by now, but I seem to be getting healthier! haha :0

I happen to know how tall you are, and I'd say about 60 kg would be your perfect weight, so maybe you shouldn't be too harsh on yourself? Enjoy your Pizza!

In that case, have two. And a few pieces of that chocolate sauce-covered cake they always seem to have on pizza menus. Then you'll be an even better weight ;) :D

how do you know, i wrote it somewhere on the forum haven't i? believe me i don't look good at 60kg, i have been that in high school and i just looked chubby, especially my face! all women in my family went through this chubby teenager stage. then i hit 21 and turned into a babe ha ha. i have pizza almost everyday, oh and doughnuts ;D. so i do like my junk food, i just don't like crisps and have to be in a mood for chocolate.

And a few pieces of that chocolate sauce-covered cake

bleh, that's too much! you have it.

This is not only Polish women, also many Polish men are like this. But in all countries women are usually more likely to go to the doctor and to take drugs.

Now you mention it, indeed, every PL girl I've known always had a truckload of medicins in her house.

As a medical student in Poland I can say that Poles often want a drug for every minor symptom they had for more than 24 hours. A generalization of course, but often true.

Many Polish doctors write prescriptions for drugs against selflimitining conditions where the drug will not help much anyway.

As I said before, there is a reason why there can one Apteka in almost every block.

Yes you did.

:)

You were probably shorter back then? You're grown now, so you could weigh 60 kg (Which is actually the minimal for your length!) and probably look just as good as you do today, and who knows maybe even feel a bit stronger? (You should know how and when you feel at your best though!)

then i hit 21 and turned into a babe ha ha. i have pizza almost everyday, oh and doughnuts ;D. so i do like my junk food, i just don't like crisps and have to be in a mood for chocolate.

That you did. I can't say I'm munching doughnuts very often, but I guess the Pizza would be a positive! I'm always in the mood for chocolate.. I don't particularly like crisps either, too much salt for my liking!

:)

no

so you could weigh 60 kg (Which is actually the minimal for your length!)

i don't believe in those bmi things and when they tell you what you should weigh at your height. i weighed 60-65 kg and i looked overweight. i'm just right now, probably better not to lose any more weight and enjoy my pizza and doughnuts ;D

my mother always gives me a bagfull of medicine when i go home and makes me take some pills during my stay too lol. we do love our drugs ;)
