Polish girlfriend and birth control!

m_26
15 Dec 2008 /  #1
My Polish gf and I have sex regularly. We have never used a condom or brought up the discussion of birth control.. I don't think she minds the fact that she might get pregnant, I think she thinks I will marry her if she does. I have been pulling out, but I wanted to know if I will more or less be forced to marry her if some of my swimmers happens to make it in there? I doubt she's on birth control. Do you think she'd be willing to get on something if I talked to her about it?

Such messeges make me realise how pungent some people can be. The class of their moral? Or the level of it... I wonder. Whatever it is, maybe I shouldn't have written on this thread. Still could wonder how someone can be like you. And yes, there are many like you.

I am happy that not all are like you...

How the heck are we supposed to know what she thinks? lol ..Ask her yourself

If she was anything but Polish, you could get away with it. But since she is Polish, the rule clearly states that you must marry. Sorry, no wiggle room there.

Do you think she'd be willing to get on something if I talked to her about it?

Why bother talking. Just get a vasectomy, and be done with it.

m_26,

I was going to write a long, level headed reply, but your post simply shows how stupid people can be.
No-one can force you to get married, but legal action can force you to pay for any child's upkeep.
Talk to her now, if you have any sense.

Getting a vasectomy isn't an option- I'm not opposed to kids and want to have some eventually.

I'm also not opposed to the idea of her getting pregnant or even marrying her if necessary, I just feel it might be a bit early (for her) because we've been dating for 8 months and she's only 19 (I'm 26). But hey, if I knock her up I can deal with the consequences.

So you are not thinking of her future.

marrying her if necessary,

'necessary' is not a reason for marriage.

Knock her up, that's pretty crude. If I asked my fiancee if she wanted to be 'knocked up', I think she'd have a few words in my ear, and a few expletives.

This is exactly the kind of reprobate that walks into 5 marriages and comes out with 5 divorces.

Have some respect for the feelings of your partner. She is a teenager, lead by example and make her feel secure.

Well said Wroc.

Getting a vasectomy isn't an option

Please do society in general a favour. It is virtually painless.

It is virtually painless.

and reversible...

For a fee. The vasectomy is covered here in Ontario, but the reversal is not.

ok I may have come off a little crude in my earlier posts.. We do love each other and I am fully prepared to provide for her and the baby if that was to happen. And I do plan on marrying her in the future.. By "if necessary" I meant if she was to get pregnant and thus require marriage sooner than anticipated.. which is fine. And no I wouldn't say "knocked up" if talking to her.

Besides pulling out has worked fine so far.

You can't get free milk without buying the cow, its a law in Poland.

But in all seriousness, M_26 you are pretty stupid to talk about your girl the way you do, and also to bring this to a forum versus talking to her. She must also be a stupid 19yr old to be letting you get away with it.

Good thing I live in Canada, huh? I wonder if the all inclusive plan has an ocean view, or a gene pool view.

Trust me, you don't want to be playing Russian roulette on that one. If you have a conscience, you will get into a panic if you feel that you impregnated her without meaning to do so. You can steer it away from that.

Seanus, m-26's GF is Polish, not Russian. ;-)

Not using any contraception........ you could end up with more than a pregnant girlfriend.

There are other methods apart from her "getting on something"

ok I may have come off a little crude in my earlier posts..

Crude or not, never mind the language. You have had sex with a girl for some time and you haven't even discussed the contraception issue. That is the worst thing.

We do love each other and I am fully prepared to provide for her and the baby if that was to happen.

I beg to differ. You are not even fully prepared to have sex. You know, sex is an adult thing, not some game for kids who don't see any problem with putting a teenager at a risk of being pregnant. If you're not mature enough to date a girl, I doubt if you're mature enough to be a father.

Besides pulling out has worked fine so far.

I heard one doctor saying that "pulling out" is a method that produced half of Poland's population...

this is so crazy that i almost feel like laughing. were you both virgins or something when you got together, have you had no sex education, do you not know where babies come from? it's just a matter of time till you go 'oops i didn't pull out early enough' and boom, you're both way too immature and careless to take care of a child. besides, you produce sperm during the intercourse as well, but you're probably not aware of that either. what a silly goose your girlfriend is, letting you use her like that with no contraception, risking STD's and an unwanted, unplanned pregnancy. all i can say is shame on both of you, especially you cos you're older and you should take care of that girl, not take advantage of her and keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't get pregnant. how bloody foolish. idiots!

Abortion is a good form of birth control. Beats condoms anyday.

Thank God that nobody has hit on the idea of a condom fitting room.
