What exactly does a Polish guy mean when he calls you his 'best friend', even though he has a best friend (who's male)?????

female can be: X, Girlfriend, Wife or keep (sorry). Not as a best friend forever...this relationship develops in either on of them. or, simply a female he would best like to avoid...without hurting

Good idea - done that - just said 'best friend - not girlfriend' - typical male answer isn't it????

he likes your company but doesnt fancy you or doesnt want to get involved with you for some other reason... simple as that. Sorry if its not what you want to hear. Relationships can develop from friendships, but listen to what he is saying. As for the last poster... crawl back to whatever hole you came from.

Is he the kind of guy "every man wants to be and every woman wants to be with"? That would explain his POV. Bcos popularity plays a major role in the internal wiring of the male. My opinion - he's non-committal to anything more than what he's offering you right now. Calling you 'best friend' is an excellent exit strategy he's implementing.

Ha ha. Must have called them all "best friends" and swiftly run out of chances. Orlandobelle, sometimes life throws a weird one at you, eh?

i think that women need romance.... it's important to keep your marriage(any relationship) fresh...

it's good to love somebody your whole life
it's harder to be in love with somebody your whole life

it's sad that ppl just don't care about that

That's indeed an admirable way to be Miranda. Perhaps a few people (both male and female) need to take notes from you.

Is it unusual to be 28 years old and unmarried in Poland?????? I think he's really good-looking too - I was quite surprised he wasn't spoken for.
