English Girls according to Polish Guys.......

I'm an English girl with a Polish boyfriend.. he didnt speak much English when we met, but we are still together after 2 and a half years and he says English women are much better than Polish in every way.. but clearly its all down to the individual and obviously love is blind. Personally, I didnt go looking for a Polish man, the nationality was incidental.

i am british nationality of german parent with polish boyfriend....sooo ...i had english, german and russian (oops) language when we met and piotrek had only a little english, so that was fun!! actually our first meetings and dates were very sweet, romantic and innocent, my family loved him from the start despite not much communication!! he was very endearing and well mannered whcih is rare.

annyway the question, my man beleives you get good and bad in any nationality, polish girls are not perfection, of course many are beautiful but many english women too are beautiful, its just different roots...anglo-saxon descent or slavic.

piotrek says he felt an energy around me when he first saw me, he was drawn to me and couldn't take his eyes off me, for weeks and weeks he was terrified to talk to me and later a friend introduced us, we shared a drink and now we a re engaged 3 yrs later!!

he says after that moment it was immaterial what nationality i was, he knew i would be his ...bless him!

I think some polish men maybe worry about english women looking for diff things from a relationship, being career focused and waiting till after 30 to have kids, not wanting to cook for her man & generally fuss over him as polish women generally do....and wanting to still go out and live it up with just her friends which many polaks dont like (better do things as a couple). i love cooking and am houseproud as well as being busy with work so this figures well but iam not afraid to ask him to do washing up once in a while....any way i have probably gone on a bit buut, good lcuk with your polish guy.............he could be a real gem!! x

sooo,

i have a profession, i went to university got a degree and now am doing a an extra year to be promoted and working............but i would never put it before family, its a way to earn money, i am talking about culture of some women who put career before husband and babies and many women now wait to have children so late...this is their choice but then many face fertility probs, i am lucky that i am maybe *old fashioned*- and a girls girl and will be happy to stay home when i have kids..not for everyone of course but to me a polish guy is perfect. correction MY pl guy is perfect...

good for you! as for fertility problems, they can hit at any age these days, diet and life style play a big part! my sister gave birth a few months ago, she's 39 and wait for it, she's a health executive and here's an even bigger surprise, my brother stays at home with the baby and the other kids because his salary was lower than hers! why? because they feel its the best option for the children.

As for being a girls girl whats that got to do with anything, one can be girly without being a slave!

I can relate to both sides of the above discussion.. but it doesnt have to be so black and white. In my experience Polish men do have different expectations of a relationship to the average British guy, which can come as a surprise to someone unused to that.. as mentioned by Anja_Rose, but its all down to their upbringing. In a good relationship there should be compromise, although not always easy in practice, both parties need to adapt to each others cultures and accept the differences in order to be happy.

My guy made my sandwiches for work today.. I have never met a British man who would do that!

exactly, thats my point, it works for me to because my family & upbringing is very traditional so its home for me, i am happy and he too.........perhaps it wouldnt have worked with a another british girl who knows.......

*by girly girl i meant not a 'ladette' type one who is traditional, feminine ...not kebab in one hand fag in the other, foul language etc....lol not wanting to get into a cultural debate on the bad stereotype of english women (of course ;) )*

Would an Polish boy be interested in an English girl? Or is not really what they are looking for if they intend to return home?

How do Polish guys view English girls?

Everyone has their own views. Poland has a very different culture compared to England and America.

I would feel more comfortable with a Polish woman who shares my views and beliefs.

considering how beautiful Polish women are......and they are!...

No not all of them, so are really not prity at all.....

Us English girl's cannot compete.

Know what you mean but WE Brits are certainly as Good if not BETTER than most Polish women. I'm British with a Polish lover.

Polish men are charming but also seem to carry alot of emotional baggage with them from Poland, they think us British women will treat them as bad!!!!

I get a bit weary of these kind of threads.... sure there are British mingers that Polish guys might not go for, but then again there are stunners like me that are so gorgeous that the average Polish guy would be too much in awe of to approach :)

A Polish guy I know said that though he didnt think that English girls were better looking than Polish girls, he did think that English girls 'made more' of themselves when they go out so that even an average looking girl would turn your head. This may also be related to the fact that English girls are more confident and expressive than Polish girls.

This and other differences are more to do with the differences between the nationalities in general than just between the women. For instance English men do dress more fashionably then anyone else in Europe and do take more pride in their appearance. Guys in the rest of Europe either dress like their Dads or favour the homoerotic look of military dress(Poland) or overly tight t-shirts and jeans (Spain).

I'm not really sure what the difference is between a pair of jeans and a t-shirt on the Continent, and a pair of jeans and a t-shirt on the Island.

Americans for instance go for the extremely baggy white t shirt and jeans. Latins go for extremely tight. In the uk its somewhere in the middle.

Combat trousers, bomber jacket.

So the degree of "baggyness" is what decides that the Brits are at the forefront of global fashion? Is that it? :))

well I am half polish half spanish decent but born in the USA

Some half polish girls have large boobs seamed like large boobs run on the Polish side and on the spanish side of my heritage so hard to say... my aunt wedding dress almost fit but she was thiner in the waistline but our boobs were the same..

all men have diffrent prefrences...

Danced with a polish boy during my high school he was from Poland too bad I was honestly not trying to cheet on my then boyfreind in the service at the time... He barely spoke english we were at an Irish pub where I live a neigborhood bar odd to meet my freind anthony had his friends

Anthony was a polish boy fell in love with a jewish girl... she broke his heart in more than one way... my freind Dawn liked anthony ... I ended up dancing with his friend who was definatly polish and a good dancer... to a song about cheeting Ironic though my then boyfreind before going into the service had been cheeting on me he found out the other girl with my same name was pregnant... I had spent almost five years with my guy... and maybe I would have done much better dating the Polish boy from Poland... every time I here that song about cheeting I think about that polish boy who's name escapes my old memory but he was goodlooking and my mom would have been happy....

As a man matures and develops he should in theory at least, learn to appreciate all the qualities that a women can offer. I have dated both Polish and English women. Some of the Polish girls beauty evaporated before my very eyes as their personality refused to shine thru. Other girls beauty who would not initially have turn a man’s head, shone thru after 5 mins of talking to them. Their beauty lit up their faces.

And remember this, A persons beauty truly can be skin deep! British women relax, your no less or more beautiful than any other nations. It’s all about the individual, if any relationship is going to last more than 1 night that is!

To a question like this you can only make sweeping statements that should be taken with a pinch of salt, even so here's my opinion gathered from a lifetime of passionate affairs.

German woman are a bit deep, 'kinky' in bed but not the sort you would want to marry.

French women are all show, pretty unexciting in bed more interested in their own pleasure than yours.

Russian woman sound sexy but aren't.

Polish women are good looking, nice figures, faithful, sexy and make good wife's, the type of woman you want if you are looking for a happy life.

American women are generally immature, neurotic, over dressed, over painted, initially exciting but you soon tire of them.

English women know what they want, are intelligent, well turned out, generally good looking and fantastic in bed but if you fall out of favour watch out.

Japanese women are there to serve, they give their entire lives to please but it does you no good, you grow to hold them in contempt.

Italian women, look gorgeous between 16 to 20 then its downhill from there plus you not only get a wife you get a complete family including grandparents.

Spanish women why bother, you won't get near them.

Remember the pinch of salt :-)

Polish bloke at work, on the subject of an English lady working at the same place:
"She is beautiful, a very beautiful woman. But I am old and I am not handsome. Today and tomorrow are for her. Yesterday was for me..."

He has a habit of talking like that - too much Szekspir and poetry methinks.
