The important thing to remember is making someone happy
and not taking advantage of this person and taking the time to really be consious
of the love in your life and not your own problems. because once you make that
one special day happen its no longer mine or hers its" ours"

amen sister :) pa!

I know you are kidding but I will be gone for the summer. The benefits of being a teacher are the summers off. BTW, I don't espouse or indoctrinate any of my students. My views are my own and are never expressed in the classroom. I must always maintain neutrality. Anyways, the subject is neutral. Its math!

Maybe, could you give me advice on where to go? I'm a cheap guy so please remember this. In Spanish there is a saying:

Bueno, Bonito y Barato
Good , Pretty and Cheap

Could you fulfill these three qualities as it regards accomodations, food, outings etc?

ThanX,

I'm from Los Angeles, California.

I've lived in Spain for two years, and Italy for one (and counting).

What I've learned about Europeans thus far is that they aren't too fond of Americans.

Still, that does not stop me from going out and seeing what's out there.

(Sorry if this post is off topic of what has recently been posted. I've only read the first 10-15 posts of this thread.)

What I've learned about Europeans thus far is that they aren't too fond of Americans.

Only if they're your typical: ''Everything is bigger in the States'' Animaniac. :) Visit my country for example, and you'll find out how many Americans actually live here, same goes for Germany and France..

Europeans aren't too fond of your politicians, that's true, but this shouldn't be blown out of proportion though. The few negative things you might hear about your country doesn't really have to do much with the average guy or girl from your country. :)

So, if you're open-minded towards the people around you, and atleast try to speak a few words in their language just for the heck of it then I'm sure you'll be fine anywhere in Europe really.

Like Fisz said and the others said, don't let a few numbskulls discourage you from paying our wonderful continent a visit. :)
