broad2444 1 | 1 19 Jan 2008 / #1Can anyone please let me know some off the beaten track destinations with good nightlife and cultural attractions in Poland.Preferably university towns but not necessarily. I would rather not go to the Warsaws, Krakow's, Szczecin's, Wroclaw etc..I would like to stay away from the big Polish tourist destinations if possible.Any advice much appreciated.

It has one of the most famous universities in Poland, it is renowned for being a uni city (well, a polytechnic but who's looking at technical differences here?). Cultural attractions, well, it has the Radiostation Tower where WWII started. The market square is beautiful too. The nightlife is pretty decent. The studenty bars can be found around Pszczynska street but the hub of the action is on the market square. Any more info, please ask
OP broad2444 1 | 1 19 Jan 2008 / #3Thanks Seanus, where is Gliwice? If I wanted to visit which airport could I fly into from elsewhere in Europe?
