Hi guys some of you may be aware that I have a little baby girl due to be born in the next few weeks. Im looking for something I really need, its a Moses Basket you know the little wicker baby carry cases. I can find them in England no problem but over here theyre as rare as rocking horse shite.

Does anybody know where i can buy/order one.

I'll keep my eyes open for you dude! In the mean time here's another mode of baby transport you might want to consider. My boy loves it.....and it keeps you close!

I found the links below, does that mean the places listed sell Mothercare products in Poland ?

Not to sure but maybe worth an email to someone on the Polish list to find out <first link> ?

Cheers all I'll check out the links - so far nothing, they are truly hard to find in Poland. I think most Poles consider them a waste of money as they are only good for the first six months. I'm getting one and thats all there is to it, from all the stuff ive bought this is the item i really want, i just love the idea.

but i refuse to pay £25 postage and packing cos im a tight fcuker like that.

A bit sad.
On this kind of moment in life I would think that money - a lousy 25 pounds - would be the last concern.

Thanks for all your help, i have decided to buy one in the UK and have it posted out. I dislike having to pay the postage and packing especially knowing the level of the postal service in Poland and the likelyhood of it going missing/damaged during transport.

On this kind of moment in life I would think that money - a lousy 25 pounds - would be the last concern.

Thats rich coming from a Pole whos country dont even sell them because they consider it a complete waste of money for only six months use. Youve got a real cheek saying that about me, dont even get me started on the way Poles scrimp and scrape every last Zloty.

Wheres your Gold Membership?? hey hey? its only a measly $25.

True enough, WB. Just look at clothes, you have to buy them at different stages of the babies' life. The first togs last for a very short time but are you gonna let the baby go naked? No, of course not!

Also, I don't like to generalise but Poles scrimp and save more than the Scots. We are thrifty, many here are just stingy.

Let me guess, a Moses basket is somehow anathema to their religious beliefs? Beats me how but there we go....
