u know, Im not a rude person, so if I am told by several that they want or rather
be called that, I respect that, sometimes I use it in my wording to not offend.
and yes, they might not have went to africa, or ever will go their, but as I refer
to myself as Polish American, or American with Polish Background , they like the
more respectable term. least those whom I have talked with. and do become
offended by the mention of Word Black , as some do the N word. I dont use it daily
as I dont need or have any desire to run off at the mouth to others much less
call names. I was telling a story, but apparently storys can be taken wrong.
as for quoting me on it, why would you even say they are not African Americans
when they will even tell you their Ancestors and heritage are from Africa, and
they want to be called that?
Let me tell you, if someone says it, it isnt a job to be respectable towards them
who am I to Question ones culture? and there is alot of Their Culture in the
city, which doesnt come from "some american culture" which isnt a culture.
I give up, I truley do. its a no brainer that America is multinational and still people
say it.
I guess after you leave Europe, you become non existent to your country.
in my eyes, I would be proud that people would want to still have this as
part of their lives.
