Are Polish People Racist?

hi,
I studied cross-cultural relations at Warsaw University and the subject is very close to my heart.
I think that most people are afraid of what they don't know. They don't know how to react, behave when they meat a "stranger". Secondly, they can't communicate. Polish people can't speak English. And of course they are afraid that people from other countries will take their jobs, those better and the worse ones. Of course, the situations is changing. Especially thanks to young people who travel, learn new languages and thanks to international business.

Polish people should try to get know and understand other cultures. We all can learn so much from each other, and not only different food;-)

My polish family is anti-semetic.

My father and family has been screwed (financially) by jews from all over. I've seen it happen and it makes me sick.

Doesn't mean there aren't poles out there who will rip other poles off... i've been ripped off in Poland. But there is an extreme abundance of extremely rich jews who continue to put their hands in the hardworking mans pocket.

We were ripped off in Poland too. It's this money thing. Some people want more and more and will get it dishonestly if they can. And it's like that all over the world.

A funny thing happened to me not to long ago. A mexican was talking in spanish to a person and I waited till he was done and I asked him if he knew were an item was that I was looking for in the store and he answered me in spanish. So feeling like what the hell.

I started talking to him in polish and he all of a sudden knoes the english laugage.
I actually think he was really mad after I was done cause I knew I had him.
He thought I was just a dumb ass american. And when I hit him up in polish he changed his attitude. And I guess decided to help me and I responded Gracias. Thank you in spanish........

Hey Ola123 do you seriously think Russia would have tolerated east Germany not being under its control? To occupy east Germany it had to also occupy Poland.Don't blame Britain-Britain was exhausted after the war and soon gave up its major colonies(like India etc).It was in no position to stand up to Russia.

Una cosa graciosa me pasó no a hace mucho. Un mejicano hablaba en el español a una persona y esperé antes de que él fuera hecho y le pregunté si él supiera eran un artículo era que yo buscaba en la tienda y él me contestó en el español. Tan parecer que demonios.

I live in La county in long beach California. And everytime I talk to a mexican that won't speak english I just talk to him in polish and i always watch him shrink.

And by some miracle he knows english.. Try it sometime.............

Again...quoting from the reviewer........" this book is a damning indictment on the Western Allies, and a welcome tonic from the one-sided stories we are so used to hearing of."........sure Britain was a very skilled political operator...sure it had to cut some deals........but if I was standing there....with an army a fifth of the size of Russias.......at the end of my supply line....which by the way was virtually all bankrolled by the USA ( to which GB was up to its armpits in debt to already)...I would have to thikn very stronlgy as to what to do....

Sledz the post in spanish is the same post I wrote in english. So don't worry about it . Its just translated into spanish...

But i have a few mexican buddies and I don't have that problem with them .
They Know if they talk in spanish to me . I will talk instantly in polish to them.
Some of them even have learned some polish from me. As I have learned spanish from them. But one thing that I think is cool is they treat me like one of there own.

I think it has to do with that I speak Polish. Or that I am polish.
we joke with each other. But there jokes are directed at blacks and americans.
They have necer told me a polish joke.
So its all good .

It`s cool dude last night I was in a crappy mood. I have a couple Mexican friends also.
My problem is with all the Illegal ones especially when they crashed into my car Friday
night. I know a little Spanish but right now I want to focus on learning Polish.

If I was you I would run a back ground check on him, and even a title search to see if he owns any property so you can get a lein on him.

My Mother knows a lawyer I think I`ll call him jutro rano.
Cant hurt to talk to him I`d like to know what my options are.
The car goes into the shop tomorrow I cant be driving around with a crushed door.

But yes you need to get informed of all your rights.

Even if this guy did not have any type of coverage or Licence .

And I would even tell your Uncle who ownes the body shop to Fatten the Bill for the work.

I was wondering, this happen in chicago.

In California you have to show proof of insurance to the Department of Motor vechicle,
DMV actually in california is infromed by the insurance company. So in case you cancell after receiving your tags . The insurance company will inform DMV and they will suspend your licence and when the cops pull you over your done.. And they tow it.

Plus was he driving a newer car. You could always sue who ever sold him the car if he had no licence.....................

When you go to the DMV here all you do Is fill out a form and they give you tags.
Only when you get pulled over they ask for your Insurance card.
When I lived in Florida they asked for my license and proof of Ins. before getting tags.
I think the state of Illinois should change this policy.
We found out today his license is Suspended with no Ins.. He`s possibly looking at jail time.
The cops fingerprinted him then let him out on a I - Bond.
Court is on 12/26/06 I`ll defenetly be there, If he dont show thell issue a warrant.
His car was a piece of shit! My vechile has about $3000.00 damage.
I found a used door today for $300 the guys already started working on it.

I think you had some great points/comments about the US and Australia, I am a South African National living in London UK, beleive me I know what racism is all about...When I lived there, I could never see beyond what I was brought into and felt the same hate and anger towards people who were racists, Even I developed a racist attitude to anyone other than the etnic group I belonged too(I am Indian South african).

When I came over to the UK, i kinda thought that things would be a little different from what I grew up in, However in first world countries (uk, usa etc)people have developed a tabloid thinking attitude due to existance of so many different cultures and etnic groups...for example even my great grand parents were born in south africa and so were my parents and I, yes we are of indian origion, but I am a south african National, when people see me, they think he is indian and must be from india - so I am judged based on what I look like, it took me a long time to find why this is so....but i figured out that. NO ONE GIVES BIRTH TO A RACIST, WHEN A BABY IS BORN, HE/SHE IS NOT BORN RACIST, BUT PEOPLE DIE BEING RACIST, SO IF THEY ARE NOT BORN RACIST BUT DIE RACIST OBVIOUSLEY SOMEWHERE BETWEEN BIRTH AND DEATH RACISM IF CREATED, I do not think that the polish community is racist, my ex girlfriend was polish and we had alot of polish friends, but I can agree with that they have been made to think or see other cultures and etnic groups in another way, I personally think that the reason for this is their lack of intrest in other cultures as they are to determined to and focused on the opportunities they now have that was robbed from them before, they are a string minded community but unfortunatley lack unity and that is what creates their insecurities.

As for the Aussies, well let them be, lets not waste our energies on them thinking they are the greatest, they love the attention and we give them that too often which makes them believe what they think....

i can see rafik is typical polish ,. face it you say that you dont want overflooding of poland by immigrants , at least that was the sense behind your statements when you responded to user not polish stating 'we are aware of that " but have you thought of how many of your people are flooding other countries in the world . go to south africa even NIGERIA and see how many of your peole are there working as doctors , in the oil fields and in other sectors in these countries . no africa man will ever maltreat you or be racial to you people like you treat us here . when you come to our land we give you the most lucrative positions in our organizations thinking thinking that whites are angels . I thank God for the british people they are so hospitable ,and exposed . yes , you may say there a lot of ethnic people causing problem there , but i can assure you that if the british people want to fish them out and deport them in the next few days they will do it , but they dont think like your people , that is to say they are diplomatic , using the right and tolerant measures in this modern age of ours

don't lie. I understood every word of that Spanish translation and it was very different than the English version. :) very funny translation, though. there are alot of other people in Los Angeles who speak Spanish besides Mexicans. there are as many El Salvadorans as Mexicans in LA. I wouldn't get offended if they talk to you in Spanish. sometimes they get so used to speaking Spanish that it slips out accidentally. I'm guilty of doing that myself when I've been speaking alot of Spanish that day.
