Doda - Blasphemy?

It's not just Madonna who has upset the church, Doda is in hot water after saying...

"I believe in nature and mother earth," she replied. "It is hard to believe in something that was written by someone who drank hot wine and herbs".

Doda dropped over bible row.

So, do you think she has gone too far this time... or are the Poles over-reacting?

Poles are overreacting

I think so too

she is entitled to say what she wants, as long as she does not offend others...

It would appear that this time she has offended people

yes, but she just lost a TV contract.

She likes pushing the boundaries, but that is about all she really does, well besides showing off her body and speaking rubbish most of the time. I don't want to generalize but if she is so intelligent (high IQ ) why is she making a fool of herself? I guess she has nothing else to offer.

Controversial singer Doda has been banned from state-owned television after the station took offence to comments she made about the Bible that implied it was written by people under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.

Never thought Poland was a religious-taliban state...what's next? Public whipping for the culprit???

And anyhow...narcotics MAKE you see things, hear voices....and the bible is full of that!

Ryszard Nowak, chairman of the Committee for the Defence Against Sects. "I believe that she committed a crime

Stone her! Hang her!!

she is entitled to say what she wants, as long as she does not offend others...

If that was the "gold standard", many people on this forum would not be entitled to speak any more.

what's next? Public whipping for the culprit???

I believe in progressive punishment. Since this may be her first offence, I would suggest cleansing by way of a whipped cream shower, followed by a lashing with wet noodles.

Looks like she did offend plently of people.
There was someone else on these forums who earlier said something among the lines of "see, Poland has these things called laws, and those who do not follow these laws are in no position to later complain", which I find quite agreeable and applicable to this current situation.
