Paying duties for e-bay purchases.

Some of the do-gooders around here will call me a criminal or whatever but I don't care. Have any of you guys ever tried getting around the import duty for things shipped from abroad? I just got an xbox 360, the sender will try to send it as a gift so as to avoid duties, but I'm pretty sure that won't work. Any experiences?

For one small thing ? Screw It.

The sender should list it as something with less value.

But if it goes missing the sender won't get the full value back.

For example: a DVD might be listed as Media Materials. Try Games Console.
