czesc !everyone.
this is my first post on the forum and i am writing it quite spontaneously because it is something that just occured to me while i was watching a dvd of "yes, prime minister".

wouldn,t it be great if it was translated into polish and shown on national t.v.?
i would dearly love to read your thoughts about how such a comedy would be taken by the polish people...and politicians.not because of its britishness, but because of what it portrays about "real "government, and so called democracy.would the polish government or establishment be mature enough to allow such satire?

As a huge fan of Yes, Prime minister (actually reading the book right now) I think the Poles would find it hilarious - the only problem is is bases it sometime bases itself on very subtle english humour which may be virtually untranslatable due to the differences in culture, in regards to humour, between the two sets of people. If it can be done, I'd love to show it to my family, then they'll know why i wet myself laughing whilst reading!
