I think it's more likely that production will shift to another country with a lower cost labor force--globalization is a genie that can't easily be put back in the bottle. Jobs exported abroad rarely if ever return to the country of origin. The name of the game these days is value-added. If you're not adding value, you're at competetive risk unless you're in a protected market.
