Travel / Getting from Wroclaw to Krakow [15]

Visiting PL in a few months - Flying into Warsaw - then Wroclaw traveling to Krakow and then home. Want to know what are some options for getting from Wroclaw to Krakow. I have researched the train but get mixed answers on safety and reliability. How much would/should it cost to take a driver for such a trip?

Every site I search seems to always show the same places - Belvedere, Dom Polski etc - Are these places really worth the high prices?

Wound up taking the train - Was really easy safe and enjoyable to see different area. The only bad part was the bathroom!

Would anyone have any good links/developers/agents in Warsaw or Krakow?

My family is from PL and I have recently just completed my first trip there and have to admit I love it!. My family would really love to buy a small place some where close to the centers or either city.

I heard that a lot of the Amber sold in tourist areas of Poland is fake so be careful.

I was looking for an Eagle for my chain for the longest time. Thought I would need to wait till I went to PL but they had at Polart.

I think I am going either the weekend of 17-19th or 24-26th - Hotels are expensive there! Anyone going to be in town those weekends?

Any suggestions on places to go while there?

Went to Wicker Park area and Polish Museum last time. Actually found this cool building that was a High School for Polish Boys and is now condos.

Not sure personally - I am sure there is some strange reason that started it. Then once more there then flights, boats etc. I believe LOT only flies to NY, Chicago and Newark direct.
