Life / How do Poles spend their free time? [14]

Achilles, what you have written ab leisure time, actually matches most of eastern Europe, things like fishing, football playing, going out on a picnic - watch my profiule to see where I come from. And this is quite good. As long as nobody breaks a bottle of vodca in your head to steal your money in the forest. Jokin ;)

News / The Impact of Poland joining the EU [64]

Quoting: Puzzler
you won't find happier people in the EU.

Hmmmm... If happyness means going out at night and not getting your head broken/eye out, if happiniz minz security, good sallaries, insurances, assistance, in that order, I`d say they are quite happy, dude.

The oriental days are (leider hehe )over ;) The orient will surrernder, or die! No middle strategy. Good luck ; Let`s at least hope I`m not dreaming when I say that. But, everything began with an idea...

One word: globalization. Second word: sucks.

Why don1t you go play with the kids in the sand and leave serious business to the leaders of our world?
Haha! Superfun!

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Cornelius - only one million, you say? I thought there were more...
Orientals pour where they find wealth. That`ll always be, and the west will also earn a lot from them.
Migrants anyhow have to respect some rules. Romania, talking ab legislation and economy is a b...ch where everybody from everwhere can come, f...k and then leave or remain to f...k and blow and p...s and fetish further on. Most of the East is like that. The re is no law, but bribery. Customs, police. I am sure Englishmen do not play foul of their land in such a way and that is why you are where you are as a nation. I am not praising you, I am jost acknowledging a truth I know about...

Polish & British people should learn to co-exist and share the many cultural ideas they
have in common...both need to be aware of and resist EU, UK and other bureaucratic
parasites.

Resist UE - you and your relatives, buddy, I resist no EU. I praise EU and globalization. ;) Kus kus

Love / Trust, Friendship, and Overall Fun - conversations with a Polish woman [8]

My advice - try to marry her, or otherwise, try to make her respect you at least when you two are togehter. When you don`t see each other, don1t give a dman about her - she could even f...k a horse, what do you care? Make her give u what you want from her (let`s say a little fun) and give her a strong man`s hand and a good conversation. Believe me - there is a reason why I come from Romania (although Transilvania - quarter Saxon!! ;), no **** ;) and the women are about the same everywhere. Our colleague above has told it concise and clear. ;)

If she comes to you : Yopu know, I had an old friend and he came to me again. Tell her : Girl, my phone number, you kissed your asss goodbye. And simply go away and find another chick. Don`t become violent - you are not married, don`t forget that (jokin) ;)

UK, Ireland / Living in Poland vs England from the Economical Point of View [13]

Well, the West and the East sind verschieden. I smts think one could divide the world in 2 big o` Rooneys like in On the Road by Jack Kerouack - the phrase, I mean. The West and the East - the 2 big o`Rooneys. The West is economically organised, intensely regulated (with few negative exc.), careless about trivial everyday things like accomodation etc and mostly eficient. The East is the opposite of the West. Therefore, the great differences in ways of life, behaviour and - in people. Threfore, the unemployment, scandals, food shortages insome families, richness combined with luxury, whereas in the West luxury could be 5-10 times more abundant, but most of the people are middle-class troopers, not 50% rich, 50% poor as in te East (or so). And that is why poor people in the east marry rich people in the same east, and they become rich themselves. That is also why we have so many rich people there, either men or women, ja, ich sage dir was. That is something maybe isolated in the West, not a regular basis...

TheEast is balcanic, dirty, mixed, unbalanced. The West - non-balcanic , predominantly clean, mixed and quite balanced. My opinion, your opinion... The world is divided. I am sure Italians and Germans are much more similar than Italians and Bulgarians. Why - Slavic and Latin? Nooo... Some live in the West, some - in the East...

By and large, from a social and econ point of view, thats it...

One should not necessarily evade -so to say or marry for citiyenship in the West. You can also study a lot in the East, pursue a career that also allows you to go for a grant (master/PhD) abroad, you can find lots of jobs at least in IT, engineering and services industry. You can become a poet, a fiddler, anything you are good at and suits you.

Nobody breaks your head in broad daylight on the street and not all the managers are pimps. Not all, yes :))). Well, yeah, people are how they are, for better, for worse, more open to culture, mostly opaque to that...

My problem is and will never be money. I am not rich (about middle class amI), but, thisis not the point. I`d like that globalization brings a change not in the salaries in the East, but in the mentality there first. One should understand bribery is a thing not to be practiced like sluts that blow everything (horses) for 10 dollars, but a thing that should only be done in the upper class, or as a means of sponsorship -in case that one student e.g. has a millionaire or billionaire father, and his father funds his university, bla-bla-bla and so on. But not in everyday contexts and not in the academical one!

Also, if I go to the disco to get my head broken or to get into jail for doing that to defend myself, than - I`d better go to a blues club, my friend. And that`s where I usually go. Eastern MENTALITY should be changed! For ever!

Love / Rules for dating Polish girls [189]

I think he has to be funny and make me laugh. money is not importent if you really
care for someone special.

Interesting... so anybody who makes you laugh would be O.K. to... hohohohoho!

Yes, you should care for sb, and for that you should be tied to that person seriously. I guess I`ll come to that stage solely after marriage. Weak chance till then...

That1`s the way it should bne. One man`s poison is another man`s meat... ;)

Life / Old Disease in Poland. [12]

If you are concerned, see a doctor and get a fasting glucose blood test.
Diabetes has a way of "sneaking up" on you. Take care!

Oh, it`s O.K. by now. A good well below 100 (mg), and, anyhow, I don`t drink very much :) Thank you!

Life / Old Disease in Poland. [12]

Patricia, what old disease? Be more specific...
I mean, we`ve had bubonic plague, TBC and now we have large-scale diabetes, cirrhosis etc. How to stop them - eat well, sweets - max. 100 g/week(!), some sports, drink moderately and not (often) later than 9 pm. Easy to get it, I think...

By the way, can sb get diabetes by 35-40 from strong beer? I heard (and I hope ) not.
Other pb would do better, because I fancy doing a little sports and not eating crap, some kinds of fast food etc, and I could take care of my liver and heart up to 65. But, the rest should be O.K. as you can hardly control it by your own will...

Love / Do Poles consider getting married more than other nations? [21]

Wolfie, I am not from Poland (I just came to an international chat), but I would really like to "get myself done up" with an arranged wedding just like in India. Why bother with adventure - I am not much of a diversity fan after all... Well, I could be, but I don1t fancy that idea that much really...

Talking about Polish women, I caould not say how the hell they are so darn sexy. I wish women in my country would be like that - maybe you1 ve heard a lot about these women of ours, that they are so... and so... and so great... They are really not so hot as many German and Russians ones. And the overall appearance is one of frigidity and flatulent boring nature. But, anyhow, they like western guys - and, I also like western people (not guys, I don`t wanna be misunderstood, you understand) and, cheers, buddies!
