in Italy there are not so many brothels as you can image. It depends on the city!
The most important issue in Italy is 'legal prostitution' that causes the 'exploitation' of young girls from the East of Europe (Romania,Bosnia,Ukraina,Poland..)

Several city roads are plenty of street hookers and we can do nothing because it's not considered illegal.

...and that's not our fault...
