History / Worst Polish leader Lech Kaczynski or King Stanislaw Poniatowski? [44]

Here, some of my compatriot is trying to convince that we (Russian) look like you (Poles or Europeans) and that after SU collapse we were changed our minds toward integration with you, that we are all friends and even could feel some sort of brotherly love toward you. Hemmm....Let's not delude oneself! Not you and especially we don't believe in this nonsense. So let's stop to play this polit correct role in "a la - Americana" style.

The fact is that mother-Russia had too plentiful meal during XX c., we eated too fast and too many and got some sort of indigestion.

And now, by the physician's advices, we are seating on the diet, trying to restor our digestive system and health. But health means good appetite!

Europens hypocrites always talk about "Free Europe from Brest (Fr.) to Ural", but we think about "Russia from Kamchatka to Brest (Fr.) ". ;-)))

History / Worst Polish leader Lech Kaczynski or King Stanislaw Poniatowski? [44]

First and the most important thing that needs to be done to reform the EU is locking the gates for the thirldworlders, limiting the EU aid for them, and taking care of EU citizens before any others.

Come on my civilazed brother, don't stop only on locking gates, you should restore segregation. Well how it is typically for europeans, they always talk profusely about racial tolerance but really still hate all people with another color of skin....

Once, after Pogroms Alexander III said "I hate all Jews and I feel happy after each pogrom, but this pogroms should be stopped by government"

This false position is a good example of nowday EU policy.

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

I would be interested to hear your views on Racism in General. BY POLISH and BY OTHER NATIONALITIES (not neccessarily against poles)

Do you think that racism is bad? Not always! Think that some little portions of it as everyday occurrence is very useful for national policy for absobtion of minorities. It may serve as clear vector of integration into society. For example, here in Russia we have some problems with migrants from central asia and Caucasia. But second and third generations fully integrated in russian society and we haven't any problems with them.

So, such racist fits of anger looks like just only fitting.

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

But what I want to underline : relationships betwen Polish and Russian people are much different story than relationships beetwen our governments.

Ooops, again!!! Why are you trying to separate russian as a nation from russian government? As I know, about 75% of Russians support Putin and his government! Or this figures are false?

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

I dont know if they are false or not. I just noticed that russians rather likes Poles, maybe I have met those who have seen something in Europe, and knows why Poland have chosen the other way, and that all the things your television is showing in russia is one big S**T.

Well I have a good opportunity to trevel through europe too. Moreover, opposite to the most of europeans I know both Russian and English, hence I can read most of europeans newspapers and compare them with Russians. Therefore, my view on the Russian problems more rich and complex, a priori. Sorry! Do you speak or understand russian? I think no! So I think that you haven't correct information about russian TV, only rumours!

What is more, If your government is so strongly supported by citizens, so why it is so scary about free media, free elections ??? Why your governent kills jurnalists ??? In Poland we havent any accident of killing in unknown circumates any jurnalists since 89 ... In russia there were about 50 ...

Opyat' dvadtsat'pyat' !!!! Why you think that our government kills journalists? Dose somebody prove this fact? But I think that this incidents just symptoms of the dying previous oligarchical regime. Some of this "democratic" jornalists and politics had dubious relations with some of our odious oligarchs such as Berezovsky...

All I think about Russians is that they are realy ok, but they dont know the feeling when you have democracy and you can change your goverment.

We no need to change our government, we just need only improvement of it.

In Poland we havent any accident of killing in unknown circumates any jurnalists since 89 ... In russia there were about 50 ...

I dont think that it would be correct to compare Poland and Russia! Believe me, Russia is more coplex state, here we have very many impacting interests, much more than in Poland or even US.

ConsrantineK

First of all i speak russian on bassic level, but we have in Poland neewspapers where you can read current articles from all over the world translated in to Polish. And there are a lot of russian articles ...

Ohhh!!! Truth!!! So you just make public facts which picked out by somebody with his own points of view, biases and even more, interests....so you have no your own experience in present Russian life and moreover in past Russian life !

And the other think is that your "free" media is tallking all the time : " Poland isnt Russia ble ble ble ... Democracy like in the west isnt for us russians ble ble ble ... We have our patterns ... our Putin is great ble ble ble ... Russia is respected again ble ble ble "

Once, when Alexaner II was just a heir of the trone, he asked his teacher, - " What revolution is?" He answered: "Revolution is an insane attempt of the society to jump from Monday in Wednesday...". Well, our democracy is not perfect, but it has one characteristic property, it fits to present Russians conditions.

In this respect, I recommend to you works by the brilliant Brit historian Norman Davies, for example the recent 'Europe at War.' Pan Books. London 2007.

Ohhhh!!! He is a really "briliant" historian!!! He has polish wife, hence his son half-Pole, so his points of view may be contested!

Yes they ar victims, and our greate german "friends" are suppoorting new face of old regime ... And we are not going to let them make form us (Poles) victims again ...
We do what we can do to help Russians, germans like always are supporting next regime (nothing new). It is not looking we are going to win this battle ... but all in all we are not going to be victim any more .

Ha !!! I really like Poles especially for one distinctive feature, their tremendouse self-sufficiency.... ;-)))) Sorry, but you neve win this battle because you have no resources! Take as a model Finland, Hungary or Bulgaria, this states more yielding and therefore wise. I think it rather madly to rush in the domestic life of the neighbour, especially if this neighbour 56 times larger than you, sorry.....but it's only my point of view.

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

So according to you, Konstaninok, the Russki history, with the tyrants-psychopaths, such as Ivashka the Terrible (mass serial killer), Piet'ka 'the Great' (mass killer, sex pervert), Kat'ka 'the Great' (monstrou sex pervert), Pavka (necrophile), Lenin (mass killer), Stalin (mass killer), Brezhnev (mass killer), and the present KGB descendant of those has been superior to Polish history?

Sorry me Puzzler, but you have narrow perception of history. You piled up history and traits. But I assure you that all acting in history have their logic explanations and motives!! For example Ivan IV (terrible is a bad translation from russian, "Tremendous" is more correct), his murders have clear political reasons, the extermination of the russian feudal nobility. And history, sorry Puzzler, pointed us that he was right, in contrast to his rival Batory.

Who is Pavka?

used battle not to describe soldiers fighting on filed :-)))) Just the battle of idea :) You know I see myself as the liberal, and I belive the Democracy is good for everybody (maybe it isnt perfect but simply the best)

I understood your perfectly, I saw that you have used this term in mental sense! But the battle of ideas needs resorces too. Poland always build castles in the air, it imagine that it's a democracy pillar on the East... Probably it would be more useful to concentrate on the domestic affairs? The state which economy is sponsored only by EU and US can't dream about some superiority in idea field, let's leave it to US or to China at worst.

My dear Lukasz, realize this fact! Acting by such unwise manner, Poland triggers a chain of circumstances. Russia see in this attempts a hostile interference in domestic affairs, so Russia must resist, but Poland has no enough strength to withstand... :-((((

We don't need any permissions from you... yawn...

You are right...bad word...., After all you want that russia will stop to interfer in the internal life of the neighbours!? Sure you need some supervisionj ust a a tiny bit...., otherwise you will harm yourself...

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

There is one big difference betwen us, it is in our history ... Poles were always anarchistic, and we know what the freedom is ... Russians were autoritarive and their citizens dont even know how it is to be realy free (even in their own country)

You should add "IMHO" when you talk about democracy in Russia!!!

But in some points you are right... Poles are pronounced anarchists and it's very dangerous not only for them, but for those organisations in which Poland has a membership....It was real Alexander's I mistake when he included G. Duch. of Warsaw in Ru. Emp.

We dont care about their feeling toward us. Once their arrogance resulted in 50 years of our dominion in Germany...

I see that after the moment of hesitation, you have started talking your old speach again...

Sorry me Lukasz, but you dont hear me when I make hints about that nobody in Russia wants to waste our human and other resources to rebuild our zone in europe. But it's just you who want to interfer in our domestic life under the far-fetched pretence that Russia has no "right"(from your point of view) democracy!!! Why you always want to fight with somebody or something? Is it a complex or something else?

The problem was we were to weak to defend it (we were atacked by Russians, Prussians and Austrians)

nonsense!!! Seek problems inside! As I previousely said it was bad time for constitution for Poland with its mad nodility and poor peasants! So the constitution of 1791 was just a scrap. You can protest, but only as par of Ru Emp, Poland got some industrial potential. Before, it was just a poor, peasant country with dark Catholic obscurantic superstitions.

Get lost, Russki clown.

You behave yourself as you are not Pole, but like bad variation of Lyah!

Tell me your arguments in less exalted manner !!!

re: O!!!! Democracy in action!!!

- And what do you mean by that?

Ironically you represent a bad variation of democracy, democracy of permissiveness!!

Bad Boy!

ok so firstly constatnionK ... our citizens were always richer, better educated more tolerant, and absolutely more free than yours ... ( talk about rich per capita) Nothing has changed ...

Firstly your citizens-peasants were liberated by rissian tsar, and you have democracy only for nobility...

There are powerful forces, both inside and outside, working against us. Many Poles seem not to notice - or not to be willing to notice - this

Ohhh, persecution mania!!!

It's not a serious respectable source. Try to get quotes from good books, such as 'God's Playground' by Davies.

Aa I wrote, this work represents only one, Polish point of view

Your tsar gave them more laws, just because he was sure about up coming uprise (our nobels deciided to give those peasants more freedom too) And what is more, how we could give them more freedom when we were under your occupation, we couldnt change the law ...

Objection!!! Alexader I gave Poland nice constitution, which was abolished only after uprising and revolution attempt during the rein of Nicolas I! Moreover Kingdom of Poland never been included in the Ru Emp but just was united with Emp by personal Union, even such "despotic" tsar as Nicolas I was crowned apart from Russia, in Poland as constitutional soverein! All have been changed only after your grandfather's uprising, so you cant refer on the fact that you had't right to change your life. You had absolutely liberal constitution!

we choose to recomedize for forigners N Davies, as a good writter and expert of Polish issues just because, he is English man who neutraly writes about this part of Europe. There are more Polish history books translated into English, but we just want people to read neutral writter. Not German, not Russian, not Polish.

As I wrote he has wife of polish origine!!!

By the way!!! All attempts of Poland to present yourself as bridge between Europe and Russia are ridiculous!! At present Russian nation has much higher education level than in poland, due to russian revolution.

You atacked us, your tsar took our crown and told us "we have the union". Oh yes it was realy nice union ...
Moreover, he decided to make liberal experiment, on this small piece of land with small local authonomy. But latter changed his mind ... Poles were not to thankful...

Sorry but it was an answer in return of polish invasion in Russia in ally with Napoleonic Armade. Sure, you could object me that it was answer on partition of poland in the previous reigns! But Alexandr was very yielding fellow, and I asure you that he could granted to poland independance, if he didnt feel constant aggresive minds of polish society toward russia for return of east lands! But it wasn't native polish lands, they were accused during troubles in Russia in previous centures!

It would be rather stupidly to deny that all partitions in poland were aggresive acts, but just could say that all of them had some logical background or basis. Partitions weren't only a simple aggration, am I right?

Hah !!! But Poland all in white and downy?

in comparison to Russia ... Yes.

All what I want to say just it's not in the tradition of Christianity to blame somebody in all sins. In the past Poland as Russia, did many deeds which surely insulted not only us but firstly your own name.

In Russia there are some positive democratic forces, your government is trying to fight with them, but maybe in the future they will win ... and you will become normal country ...

Where? Which democratic forces? Do you mean Kasparov? Ha! What do you know about him exept that he is grand master? Do you kno that he is cooperating with neo-bolsheviks to overthrow government, thanks god he hasnt real support in russian society. He lives on the Berezovsky's sop, and so he is really contemptible person!

- Well, I don't mind 'people' reading Polish historians.

Thanks no!!! drink this bile and poison yourself !!!

- Please prove I'm 'simillar' to Konstantin, or even worse. Can you?

First of all, despite that you are Pole, you have one head, two legs and two hands, as me....I think so....

- And what would this signify? Do you suggest that Davies lies in his books because his wife is Polish? Prove it.
:)

I read his books and I am finding them rather russophobic, it's enough! I cant say that he is a lier, but he represents facts in such way that his perception becomes clear!

I think that people like you exist in every country, and you need each other, you know Ortodox jews needs radical Hamas, ConstantineK needs Puzzer. You need each other to prove your silly theories of the world.

God bless you Lukasz, you are very romantic person, but I am more, more cynical ! I think that all nations have same nature exept some small deviations...So noone has superiority as compered to other.

1. In is one of the bigest European countries 311 900 km UK has about 244 820 km2

Oh sure it's very large! How many hours do you need to cross it from W. Podkarpakie to W. Zachodniopomorskie? I suppose about two or three?

2. Every year we are richer, this year it GDP will increase about 6-7% with the lowest inflation in EU

Well, if you have nothing in your pocket, 1$ which was given by US and EU will give you 100% growth!!!
Sorry but your GDP is mainly EU merit, not your!!! You are living on dotations!!!

3.It is better and better too, just come to Warszawa, Krakow, Poznan and you will see.

Thank you, in response, I can invite you to our nothern "Azure Coast", to Magadan on Okhotsk sea! It has 365 sunny days and pretty good temperature, about -40C

4. 38 mln, 6 place in EU

Something around two Moscows? I remembered that almost all young people escaped from Poland to West! So, I think that this figure is not quite correct, or it means 38 mil of the aged?

5. We are one of the bigests exporterers of copper, we have a lot of coal (we just started to made petrol form it )

Ah Yes!!! Strategic stockpile: Copper (for bronze battle-axes), coal (for steam engines) and firewood to warm caves, nice set !!!

6. It isnt small, our aim is 150 000 now it is biger, our soldiers are expirenced (Irak, Afganistan) it is partly proffesional, and we modernise it every year, F-16 , rosomak, missilies ... i m sure that its quality is much biger than Russian.

Oh, famous Polish squadrons of cavalry? Participation in the doomed wars will be a good expirience for you troops!!!

What is more I think you dont watch German TV, If you watched, you would noticed that last time your German friends try to stop beeing shown as an advocate of russian interest in EU especialy in relationships with Poland. So thank you ConstatninK for help ;)

Only weak nation may fear another nation. Here in Russia during about 500 years from the times of Iv. IV we recruited Germans to live and to work in Russia. And it was a right decision. They worked good and they gave us many useful things in science and so on. There was alot of Russian people who had German origin, for example, my favourite historic figure, is Baron Roman Friederich Nickolaus von Ungern-Sternberg who was a war leader in White Guarde during Civil War in 1918, and who was briefly Ruler of Mongolia, and after his death was proclamated as Mahakala incarnation by the Dalai Lama XIII.

WHAT!!!!

On the other hand, it was the Russians who invaded and destroyed our national order, including our monarchy, and took away our independence in the late 1700s....

What? Where did you see the order in Poland in 18 cent.? You destroyed your "national order and monarchy" yourselves, and even earlier, in 16 cent. Remember Henry de Valois!
