Feedback / Forum Ideas - Listing - Who is online/Who is reading this thread [58]

There must be many people like me who log-in, check a few posts and then wander off to do something different. All without logging-off. Any search or request will only reveal the last post. It won't tell you if they are paying attention or using the forum.

I've got Windows Vista, so I'm permanently logged onto PF when ever I'm online, but may well be looking at a different sight

UK, Ireland / Why do Poles come to England? [514]

The English seem to have forgotten that they went to Germany in the early 1990's looking for work in the building industry

I know of a few that stayed and are still in Germany now

they do that for their own long-term goals, not for us!

how many people work for purely altruistic reasons? not many, I know I don't. So you push trolleys for teh good of the shoppers in Tescos? that's asuming you do push trolleys in Tescos for a living, after all we only have your word for it, and from what I've seen your word isn't worth very much

Life / Why not live in Nowa Huta? [29]

Would you work in Poland as a rotten English Language teacher?

I think Lady in Red would make an excellent English teacher, not rotten at all

I couldn't care less about aboriginal slaughter as i personally played no part of it, so it ain't my problem

so if I'm walking down the street and I see you getting your head kicked in, I won't bother phoning the police or the ambulance, cos I played no part in it, so it ain't my problem
