The meaning of ring on Polish girl's middle finger?

Hello, a very attractive Polish girl (she emmigrated two years ago) I am an acquaintance with has a ring on her left middle finger. It otherwise looks like a wedding ring, except its on the middle finger and not on the ring finger. I was wondering if this means anything Poland. Married, engaged?

She is VERY attractive, which leads me to believe she's married. God I hope not.

After two years you still don't know if she's married or not?

I don't know if there's any significance of wearing a ring on the middle finger in Poland.
Whenever I wear a ring on the middle finger, it's just because the ring is too big for my other fingers.

responding publicly to basically what i sent you privately. i've just known her for a few weeks, and i don't really know her at all, i just am a frequent customer at a place where she works. but she told me that she emmigrated about 2 years ago, that's how i know.

In poland the wedding ring is on the ring finger / right hand. If it's on either of her middle fingers, then she's probably not married.

then she's probably not married.

It may have been left to her ( bequeathed ) by a relative and is too big for her other fingers.

In general, anytime I`ve ever seen a woman wearing a wedding band on the middle finger, it usually meant, she MAY have been married and now is presently open. So perhaps most of the time I would read that as she`s now presently available ;-) John/NY

More like it's probably a family heirloom. She doesn't want to ruin the ring by sizing it down.

Please don't think me a jerk for saying this but in the U.S. it means the woman allows anal sex.

I grew up in Chicago and it's true. It doesn't actually require her too, but this is the way a woman flirts outwardly about such a thing to men.

I was in Texas recently. I went into a fueling station and the cashier sticks an ice cream cone in her mouth while she rings up the sale, giggling around the ice cream cause she's obviously making a blunt hint to me. That isn't to say she was actually interested in me but she was just flirting in the most obtuse manner possible. It was a silly kind of a thing to do but it did turn me on. She knew it of course lol. The games people play.

sorry but you are a jerk

I'm not a jerk.

Wow!

She was a coutry chick in Gainsville, one of the poorest parts of Texas and while she certainly wasn't educated or sophisticated I took it for what it was.....fun.

she was eating an icecream, it was your mind that made you think it was anything else! I bet she was thinking what the PF women are thinking about you too :)

These crazy chicks, I mean how could a sane man understand such brain activity? And why would a guy want to anyway? What with her hair that feels so nice in your face, her voice that lets you forget the rat race, skin so smooth, feet and hands so small you want to hold her, protect her, love her forever. Understand her? Huh?

In the movie "Planet of the Apes" I kinda developed a crush on Nova, the mute human girl Heston fell for. She never talked, had an adorably overexpressive empathetic face, and a tatered mini skirt. The perfect woman? Isn't Nova a Polish name?

Ok you see what you did...you got me in a sarcastic mood...it's your fault.
