Maybe it's coincidence, maybe it's another generalisation but I think it's a Polish thing. It's how my parents raised me too & how other men in my family were raised as well. The kiss on the hand, the chivalry, etc.. not that it works though, most women think you're a wuss anyway for doing that in my experience

Yeah, I've been thinking about that too!
A poll script requires more resources but I mean.. with today's computers & internet connections, that's really minor.
On the other hand, it's true that there's a chance you'll create stereotypes. As eg if it was in the Polish forums it doesn't reflect the opinion of the Polish but that of the people on the forum only.. But then again, we all know that right?
Isn't there a script where you can have rules for polls? Such as only max. x poll for users y per z days.. if you know what I mean.. or only relevant polls?

Allright, I accept that. But asking everyone to admit if they worked for the communist govt. & making their daily lives depend on it is not the right way. It's pretty much a witch hunt. Which is why I can understand why the court deemed it as unconstitutional.
These clear cases need to be adressed one by one through justice and courts of law & not massively through the ones in power.
And even then I don't know if I'm fully 100% for that, as to me personally, it's something that stands in the way of the future. But I can understand that Poles that lived through it & have profound memories about it do not want to forgive & forget that easily.

The thing is that these books were written thousands of years ago & do not reflect the state of current society. So if you were to interpret things literally, yes you can marry multiple women.

I was mixing a one third of sarcasm, a splash of irony & finished it off with a dash of cynicism. In cast you hadn't noticed. I know how complicated they are, I am Polish, I follow Polish newspapers. You can very well defend yourself despite of the "American P.C." I just can't stand such remarks as "Jews can spit on us" You're entitled to your own opinion but so am I.
Well, I don't live in Poland the whole year round any more, so I don't know how society would react on that, all I know is that they still sell those "Jewish jokes books" in "kiosks" accross Poland. It's a small book with a jewish man on the front depicted having money coming out of his pockets & a huge nose. So.. double standards.. not too sure about that..

Not really, but It's true that If something like this was published in a Polish mainstream newspaper, there would be a huge aj waj waj about "Polish antisemitism" around the world. There shouldn't be doubel standards for Jews and Goys. That's all.

Well I'm surprised a paper such a Ha'arezt published it, I thought it was quite secular.
Well, I think that's the point where we differ. I'm less conservative & more liberterian. And I'm quite torn to be honest. Although they depict my people in such a dreadful way, I still think they have the right to do so. However, freedom of speech ends where another's man's freedom is trespassed. I find it hard to create an opinion on this...
Well, it's a heated discussion & I certainly don't feel responsible for holocaust. You know it, I know, the whole world knows...
Like those people who deny Jewish/Armenian holocaust.. let them have it. If they want to rewrite history, sure.. the world knows better.
