Law / D-type visa (long stay) in Poland - I cannot leave Poland? [10]

No. It is impossible to get a residence permit in a month. 45 days is ideal term. In reality, it spend about 2 month or more as visitorP wrote on previous post. Unfortunatelly, I do not know whether we can exchange the kind of visa.

When will your visa be expired? You can have trip to Prague having submitted all documents which are required for residence permit if the trip will be short (for example, for 1 week).

UK, Ireland / I'm turning nationalistic. Want to change my views. [14]

James330

But im sorry, over time my personal steriotype has become...

A lot of my friends of foreigners are also. To tell the truth, me too little bit (I'm also a foreingner).

I liked them at first
I tried to see the good second

I like polish people because most of them are very kind and have open-mind.Their human-beings are excellent.
However, I don't want them to be my business partner or collaborators.

At least in my scientific work at institute, people seems to work not efficiently and professors are too much proud of themselves although their knowledge is very primitive.

Such things are connected to bureaucracy, less infrastructures, political scandals, environmental pollutions and so on, I think.

Work / Is it hard to find a job in Poland? [9]

Since the number of unemployed peaple in poland, it is hard to say that it is easy to find job in Poland. Moreover, it is one of the most serious problem, you will be fed up with Karta pobytu (permit of settlement in Poland). We have to apply for karta pobytu in city office to stay in Poland, Polish workers in such office are basiclly lazy. To enter the office, we have to wait in front of the office from 2am (even opening hours are 8:00~). For instance, I had such experience. Now, the situation has been modified but wokers are still lazy.

Canadian life is better and easier. I strongly propose you to stay in canada.

In addition, I am Japanese. I wrote my opinion from my point of view.
