i have seen poles say their are electricians, even had some fancy paper work, couldnt even do a simple ring main. i have seen them say their are welders, and cannot tell the difference between mig and tig. this has cost me money, this has cost the country money. if their want to work here 1st their should apply in that country. then pass an english test. then pass at test for what ever work their want. then and only the apply for the jobs their want. and if the quota for the year has been filled, then sorry thanks but no thanks snitchel!

If you are a Pole with a good experience, good English etc, you are not earning less or doing some cr@ppy jobs.
But when you come here with your phony masters, no experience, bad English and equally bad attitude, do not expect too much.

this i have first hand experience. the reason poles are at my place is that we used an agency, and the skills and qualifications their said their had were all bs.

austraila wouldnt be far enough, i understand they have a large population of poles. as for being lazy and not doing anything, iv done enough thank you. as for you thinking that class rooms arnt overcrowded, your wrong. my partner is a primary school teacher, and she says its a nightmare trying to teach these kids. so i think if anybody is lazy its the parents of these kids who want everything done for them.

the only resource poland has is people. and as for uneducated, if i was it would be from being in an overcrowded class room full of kids speaking different languages. but i went to school in the time when we had a proper prime minister. its just a shame she isnt anymore because she would tell you were to go.

survive alone without natural resources on your island, without empire states in africa, europe, north america as it was 200 years ago.

you are one deluded little boy. your poxy little country isnt that old for history. the only reason there is no empire, is that we have took what we want out them sh"t holes, then give them back in a much stronger position. then there f@@k it up again, i.e india and pakistan. yes we have resources, thats what made us great. sadly these times are over, but we will always have slaves. there come over in there thousands and keep wages down for everybody else. what these fools dont realise is that there are getting exploited. and when they shelf life has ran out, they will be cast aside for a life on the state, paid for by tax payers. i made the mistake my self, thought i could use cheap labour, but it has caused nothing but problems. but the big one is there just not very bright, it must be a genetic thing. no wonder they get walked over.

yes these countrys support, but there also take some of the most. take france, when kids grow up there want to be astronauts or firemen, french kids want to be farmers, 100 grand plus a year french farmers claim. what i dont agree with is that british tax payers pay the most into a very flawed system. and that is a fact. what britain pays into europe is more then what some of these countrys own economy make.

I do not assume that we should do GCSE in English. That's too far enough. Why? It's simply as 1,2,3. We are in European Union

this i agree with, considering a lot of english people dont even have one. but there must be some sort of test in reading and writing. if you cannot pass this then sorry you cannot work here, and that gos for everybody. from my own experiences this lack of language is highly dangerous. and when i mean test i dont mean what ever piece of paper they brought. there should be an aptitude test before anybody enters the country to work/ settle here. judging by your grasp of the language you cannot denie this.

no my point is strong because we do not need europe as it is now. its main purpose was to free up trade to the weaker countrys, now these countrys are doing well its about time britain was free from it. and i do not disagree about working closely but if these countrys can join europe they should be able to support they own citizens with what we can. why should one country have to support the rest??

do you believe that your are entitled to the same benefits as some one who has paid for 20 years into the system?

why would that be? do not forget that just the south east of england is the 7th largest economy in the world, granted its in a bit of a state now, but it is british tax payers money getting pumped into the banking system that hopefully will sort it out. we do not need europe, never have. why do we need something that we pay the most in for the littlest benefit. if any thing europe needs us alot more then we need it. do you really think the countrys that relies on tourism as they main income will close they borders to the people who spend the most on holidays? british people have been keeping these countrys ticking over for years and there will continue to do so. next time you try and be clever and hide behind your newly formed tag of europe as a superstate think off what it would mean to it if we were not they. and trust me on this, you would not be putting smiley faces at the end of your posts. :)

nincompoop_not

right.lets get this right. polish people should not qualify for any benefits or health care or housing. they do drive down house prices, packed into the rented accommodation like rats. and they certainly should not be employed if a native brit is qualified to do that job. as i have said in other post i am not totally against but it should of been controlled! but this will be resolved in the next year or so. as for the 27 states, dont you think one of the first things that will happen when the torys come to power is change every one of labours disastrous polices? that includes how we deal with europe. cameron has already hinted at a vote to stay in or depart, and with the lisbon treaty been forced down our necks it dosnt take a genius to work out how that will go. but knowing the polish they will just swarm onto the next country like the locusts they are.

well its took a while but it has started to happen. the poles are finally getting laid off/sacked. and i could not be happier, the only problem is they will no doubt get a lot of benefits they dont deserve. but finishing these vermin is not enough as they will still clog up the health care/ housing system. but if we not only get a vote on the lisbon treaty but also to stay in europe and the people vote right, we could get rid. as i have said before we do not really need europe, the south east of england is the 7th biggest economy on its own. british tax payers pay the most per head for the least benefit unlike the polish. so if that happens ALL economic immigrants will have to leave. GOOD RIDDANCE

i do not need to lie about my qualifications as all my details are on file, unlike the polish. that includes my criminal record if i had one. i think alot of employers are starting to realise what a grave mistake this so called cheap labour has cost them. dont get me wrong, i am all for controlled immigration, but only if it will benefit this once great country. sadly this is not happening. please answer me this question, how many do you think will return back to poland, when this soft touch of a country will support them, and do you think after just a few years or even weeks paying into the system you deserve it? do you think you should have the same benefits rights as someone who has paid in all his life? do you think it is right to be claiming for family members who are not even living in this country? and if you were drafted into the army, would you fight for this country you are bleeding dry? or would you run back to poland while still claiming for everything you can? knowing the mentality of the polish i am certain of the answer.

UK, Ireland / Why do Poles come to England? [514]

we have some poles that work at our company and let me tell you, i havent met such a pathetic group of people. i understand that they will be some decent ones around but i am yet to find one. most have lied about they qualifactions to get the jobs in the first place, which result in poor work output. with this supposed 400000 that are here how many are spending they money here? so theys money not going into the economy. many live in houses with lots in them, which bring the price of houses down. they is one at our place who is determined to get a council house so he can rent rooms out. and how many will never return because they have skiped they national service? how many are claiming for kids still in poland, this country has been at bursting point for years and now is the time to say enough is enough. we need a goverment with a spine, that says no to a european state, this country dose not need europe and its stupid laws. and we dont need underqualified sponging people who just come here expecting everything!! and before you start saying poles are doing jobs what the english wont your wrong, poles are doing jobs for less money which keep wages down while every thing else gos up.
