UK, Ireland / England, Dirty, Expensive and a dangerous place to live? [205]

Should we respect someone who categorized other people like "subhumans" just because of their race or because they are immigrants?

Lets look at why he has those opinions, could it be that hes become very unhappy with immigration into his country.
If people are really upset by something then they wont think twice about venting they're anger over it, that doesn't make him subhuman. If your looking for someone to blame then blame the people that allowed his country to be flooded by immigrants.

You wouldn't like a load of them in your house so why would you want them in your country.

UK, Ireland / Exploiting Polish Workers by the UK businesses [90]

The problem with the uk is the same as with ireland, our governments decide things for us without asking us if that is what we want.

That has nothing to do with any perticular nation within the uk because if we look at the government its made up of people from all the region.

Lets have a look at say the issue of scottish independence, the last public poll showed that there was a higher percent of people from england that wanted it more than there was scottish people.

I think you will find that those 4 million are those that have british citizenship and as such the figure doesn't include the millions of eastern european workers and illiegal immigrants that are here.

20 million is a slight exaggeration, official figures are about 10% when i last read something from a reliable source but of course not all are here to stay.

Its not that i dont care for my own because i do very much but if they choose to jump ship and then are not welcome in the place that they went to then it is of no fault of mine that they are not happy.

I think what is different for most of the people that emigrate from the uk is that most are welcome where they go, they normally have to have something to offer more than just a pair of hands for cheap labour and are entitled to no benefits at all or for a cosiderable period of time.

But you want the pakistanis and the Arabs? This preference to muslims is strange.

No we dont want them here, but as you wouldn't watch any uk news or even understand it that well then you would fail to see the various violent protests that have happened recently regarding the amount of muslims in the country.

By reading this, people might think that britain is going backwards instead of forward. But it is just a fact of life that inmigration/enmigration has been there forever, and it will not stop! Or have you forgotten the wave of arse-poor inmigrants from england fleeing to North America, Australia or South Africa? Or is it because they were "English" that it was good and justified?

Look inside yourself dude, reason and meditate, the world goes around, who knows in 10-20 years your little country's economy will go to hell, and AGAIN the world will have a wave of Ass-poor british inmigrants stealing jobs from locals around the world.

Should we then treat them like sh*t?

Well it was they're choice to leave, but lets looks at the last large wave of migration.
During the victorian era when guess what, there was high immigration which meant that there wasn't enough jobs which allowed the companies to keep the wage to a bare minimum, what a f**Kin surprise that they left.

What goes around comes around but some of us wish to make it a straight line in a forward motion instead of a big circle.

If they choose to go to another country and they are not liked then so what, thats they're problem and they only have themselves to blame so instead of jumping ship they should have stuck it out, worked hard and solved the problems that they're country had.

Luckily you are wrong, and luckily there are institutions in the UK, who still believes that human beings, no matter of what nationality they are, have the same rights. Regardless of whether the common population wants them in the country or not.

You wish i was wrong but your just scared of the fact that i am right, i get first hand experience with polish people day in and day out so i know how they're treated.

Does it really matter if a few institutions care for them?, if the majority of the population doesn't want them here then they will continue to be mistreated.

Nothing is going to change that.

UK, Ireland / Recruitment agencies advertise for Polish only workers [162]

It's very simple, guys. Nobody asked the UK and Ireland to join the EU. They wanted to join themselves. And to quote the BritishHasBeenEmpire, "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Let's see how long you will survive without EU and especially the money that's coming out of the EU.

Shut up you fool, we only joined the EUSSR because we were conned.
The EU does jack for us, it has taken more from us than we have ever had back and it always will, do you really think the EU would just shut us out if we left?. As if they really would give up selling all those BMW's, Mercs and peugeots e.t.c + access to the city, haha it just gets better.

They can say what they like but the simple fact is they would do very little over the matter.

They are only accepted by the government and business, if you ask the population if they wanted them to come then you would find that the overwhelming majority dont want them here.

So guess what they are not my problem because they are not from my country, they have a choice, shut up or pack up.
We could go on all day about the problems that polish workers encounter in and out of work, they are not liked its as simple as that, from having problems renting a flat to being dismissed from they're job over something that is trivial is proof that they are shown little respected because people dont like them.

Iam not interested in the subject of if its right or wrong as i cant change the minds of millions of people.

Well all that cheap booze and fags comes at a cost to the tax payer so thats only a good thing that it would stop, besides think of the health benefits.

The border checks would be no different than it is for people from norway or switzerland, still it would be worth it and iam sure that these people are aware of the affect that leaving the EU would have.

There is no need for the EU, a simple set of trade agreements would be enough.
We dont need political union, for all those that think it will work then i suggest you take a look at the ussr which had a similar system and we all know what happened there.

As for polish workers being mistreated so what, people from all races are mistreated every day in the uk, thats life but at the end of the day if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

We have enough issues to resolve with our own people to care about a group of people that have come here to work.

Leaving the EU would solve alot of the problems over night as it wouldn't be so easy to come here in the first place.

Thats why UKIP is getting my vote in the next general election.

I know of more than 20 polish workers where i work that are useless but it means nothing, there are useless people from every culture.
The best companies i've worked for pay a decent wage so naturally they atract the better workers.
Pay peanuts and you get monkeys!

UK, Ireland / Brits Are 'Dangerously Lazy And Idle' [53]

Well at the end of the day if your given the choice between sitting at home all day or having to do a minimum wage job that involves heavy work and being surrounded by a workforce that is 90% foreign then its no wonder that many prefer to stay at home.

UK, Ireland / Poles top of UK class [41]

So, for those of you questioning why the PL are UK bound, here's a good example of why. It's called hard work and determination for a better future.

So why do they have to come to the u.k?, whats wrong with pooland.
I suppose this is the fruits of gordys plan to enlarge the contribution that english teaching makes to the economy.

They're just a small bunch of nutters that managed to get two (yes, that's TWO) MEPs into the European Parliament.

Yes, immigration is in a mess but the BNP are not the answer.

BritishEmpire:
I spoke to a good friend of mine that lives in london, he is from south africa and has been living here for 2 years but is planning on going back home in the new year because he is sick of how this country works,
Don't tell me, let me guess, your mate arrived here with a British passport that he has always carried due to colonial links between Britain and SA and that the only reason he came here in the first place is because SA is f**ked ?

I dont see how there a small bunch? 2 seats in the european parliment is a huge achievement for any party that isnt one of the big 3 so theres little point being ignorant over it.

Infact my friend came on a visa like alot of people do so why are you jumping to conclusions, the reason why he came was to study and to save some money so that he could start a business back in south africa not because SA is F88ked as you put it because it isnt.

my heart bleeds for him

Lets hope the bleeding doesnt stop

What i can honestly say is that the government and the news love to portray things that way and if your gullible enough you will believe it and follow the rest of the lemmings off the cliff.

Iam not saying its right or wrong but virtually everyone i speak to dislike immigrants in one way or another and for various reasons, it actually doesnt surprise me that the BNP is the fastest growing political party in the UK.

I spoke to a good friend of mine that lives in london, he is from south africa and has been living here for 2 years but is planning on going back home in the new year because he is sick of how this country works, he likens it to a communist country in that you only ever seem to have enough to live on and that wages are low and continue to stay low.

I dont see what the big deal is, you see polish shops with signs in the window saying "no english" so why is this different.

Still its the landlords property so as far as iam concerned he/she owns it so he or she can do as they like.
I suppose this shoots down all those multi cult liberalists that really believe this country loves immigrants because its clearly not the case, what gets me is why everyone keeps going on about it.

Its always been like this and it always will we are an island nation, do we really have to keep talking a perfect world when its obvious its not going to happen, politicians and there equality groups can try as hard as they like because at the end of the day its what the people do that matters.

UK, Ireland / Scotland encouraging immigration. [90]

The problem is it only benefits people that are willing to live like animals or are seeking asylum, my wife and i just about manage to earn the national average for one person and the government sees it fit to pay us £14 a week + child allowance (something that everyone gets) i dont see how thats a soft touch.

UK, Ireland / Scotland encouraging immigration. [90]

I used to be against scotland being indepedent but i've changed my mind, lets just hope this idea spreads no further than scotland.
I heard talk once of germany offering people money for each child they had, that sounds a much better idea of boosting the population.
O sh*t that costs money, money that we could spend on trident and 2 super carriers so we can carry on acting out our dream of being a world power again.

UK, Ireland / Irish Primary schools to teach Polish [223]

This just sounds like another load of rubbish to please a small minority group (a speciality of the UK & Ireland), if your going to teach your children something then its best to teach them something that will be of real use to them aswell as your economy when they grow up.

Chinese would have been a better option for obvious reasons.
And before all the whiners come on here moaning that poland this and poland that take a moment to appreciate the fact that china will be the biggest economy in the next 50 years if not sooner and theres 1.2 billion of the little noodle eaters running around.

Well to be honest Archer if i was getting 4-5 times more per hour than i do now i would kiss ass and make sure my boss was happy with me.

If i had the chance to improve my life by a huge amount i would take the chance and work my butt off so its more a case of a bigger incentive and not work ethic.

As the old saying goes "you pay peanuts you get monkeys" but maybe it should be changed to "you pay peanuts you get polish".
