Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

The simple truth is, you die and that's the end.

Now how can you be really sure Sean, noone has every come back to tell the tale.

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

I remember in Alchemia

Oh loads of spirits in there too. I've seen them there especially at 4 in the morning!

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

After Paintballing, after the BBQ we were scullin pints in Alchemia, the bar, and some how it came up that I am an Atheist and you said you'd have it out with me on PF for that:)

Why don't you both just agree to disagree. Nobody knows what is on the otherside until you die and therefore noone can relate this back.

I personally believe that there is something on the otherside, not the afterlife, but your spirit lives on. When people die in. hopitals they open the windows the let the spirit out, even in life it is the spirit of a person that makes them who they are, not the body.

Travel / The most overrated or disappointing places to visit in Poland? [13]

I think Sopot is a great place for young people and families, the beach is great you can walk to Gydinia along the coastline, its a small place and really really safe. I like Sopot very much. If you want Mcdonalds and the daily mail on every corner, coupled with English breakfast in every cafe, well this might not be the place for everyone.

Sean this is why I said agree to disagree. You have your beliefs other people have their beliefs. Just call it a day, because everyone could debate until they are "blue in the face" and it will not change anything.

You can't say that and then go on to spout your belief, this is a public forum and I have as much right to post my opinion on here as you do.

I did not say that, you can say whatever you like, like anyone else but the end result is going to be deadlock. You have your opinion and I have my opinion, no leeway ends in deadlock. Therefore there is no point of furthering this discussion, it will only lead to bad feeling unless new material can be produced to the contrary.

UK, Ireland / Poland Flying the Flag at Gay Pride in Manchester [75]

I heard that the Uk was becoming a haven for Polish homosexuals.

I believe the "political correct term" is peace love and understanding, fly a rainbow flag and it gets you into the EU, free of charge the world has gone "pear shaped" in my opinion"!

Life / Car stereo thieves - is this a problem in Poland? [23]

Maybe forget about getting a sterio in the car, simply get a hand held device then you can play loud music, and have no need the park, thus illiminating the prospects of you having to park your car and have your new sterio stolen. Problem solved I think.

Travel / Question about Wizz air flights to Katowice/Kraków... [20]

I have flown with Wizz air the chances are you will be flying to Katowice and then joining a bus which will take you to Krakow (a 1 hours journey). Why not get your inlaws to pick you up at Katowice is is only 30 mins on the motorway, however, make sure when you check in. I have never heard of a ticket which states krakow/katowice, it is either one or the other.

UK, Ireland / Recruitment agencies advertise for Polish only workers [162]

M-G (tsk)

Mr Mgee I am interested to know, why at the end of your comments you speak in the 3rd person. It is almost like you, as "mgee ",are detaching yourself from the comment. Please explain.

UK, Ireland / England, Dirty, Expensive and a dangerous place to live? [205]

New Zealand looks and sounds great but expensive too, Australia, nah i could never live there as a Pomm. Ive worked with many Aussies and i dont really see eye to eye with them personally.

Oh I like the Aussies, they do call a "spade a spade" and you know where you stand with them, probably coming from the North East of England I prefer this approach than the "behind the scenes" commentary, which sometime occurs in other countries.

New Zealand is also a great place, a bit underpopulated I think though, beautiful scenery but I cannot help but think ,for younger people they will get a bit bored. One of the reason they move to London ,take temproary bar work, is because they are young and see another side of life.

News / What needs to happen in the world so that Poland and Russia form alliance? [297]

On another note here. How close in similaries are the British to the Germans. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hear everyone call, but just think about it. I think the British and the Germans are very much alike. We have the same little routines and customs, we really do like to stick to rules and regulations, we are an oppressed nation, both countries extremely wealthy. We are a perfect match actually. Any other opinions?
