I was schooled in the UK and IRE and i learned about the camps in a very, detailed, way
I appreciate this education as its good to give young impressionable youth the true horror of it so that it lasts them all there lives. lest they ever forget and repeat the past.

I would hope my children are taught about it too. never forget, never repeat.

Oh god yea, Ive been to shops in Poland and it is the elderly are the worst at shoving and HITTING! whats with that!! - excuse me works MIRACLES!

The younger shop assistants LOVE the fact I am struggling with Polish and are very helpful and charming I must say! even the blokes were friendly!

In Ireland - it is not uncommon to say 'hello', 'how are ya' when you pass a stranger on the street. In poland, old habits die hard, i shocked some old fella when i did this and made some other girl smile

er i think its fine too, im just saying not my number 1 place to go - in Ireland, the places that serve alcohol in the evening are usually loud and not conducive to getting to know the otehr person. just to drink and drink - infact - i think thats why they are so loud that you drink more talk less :)

its not the done thing here now - you meet them at house parties and colleges etc :)

It just so happened the one I found, who was the MOST amazing was in fact, Polish.

I disagree with the bouncer not letting them in, it would have made a great experience for them! In my city we have salsa nights, should we only let in latino's? (the answer is no btw :) all in!) Its a fun way to DIVERSIFY and have fun :)

I don't like people who make degrading remarks for the sake of it. peer approval. or misplaced hatred for the bad things in there own lives.

Women, to me, are the greatest beings on this planet! I love them! there bodies, there souls, there nuturing, there guile. So many aspects! (and im told some women actually find these in men too :) )

As to race. I feel the need to remind people that if you think about it, the earth is but a grain of sand on a very large beach. We are so small (and getting smaller with advances in transport and tech) That it is foolish, petty & bigoted to 'hate' someone for where they are from!

I do believe it IS ok to hate them if in a due and fair process they are found to be criminals (but then, most of our criminals, are homegrown :)) and we latch on the ONE 'foreigner' and label ALL of them for the bad and wrong in our homes - its MADNESS!

I merely said that that is what her friends asked and it was funny! as neither of us, it would not matter as we love each other

and you dont have to 'choose' a faith to be married, you can just get married in a registry office without the interference of religion at all!

I am 23, she is 23 (she is 2 months older)

We love each other. I am Irish, she is Polish. Her family were very warm and welcoming on the few occasions i have stayed with them.

The funny thing was, that all her friends would ask her (she told me) was I a catholic. i dont like that, i was raised a catholic but i would never let that hinder my love. Nor her's but she just said it was funny and typical polish reaction, i guess i cant blame them, I know it was an Irish atitude too.

It's a distance relationship at present. She is finishing her masters and i my degree and accountantcy exams. We hope to live together then. But my family and her family have been so welcome, supportive and for lack of better words - family!

Love, has no boundries. I believe this and am living this.

In Ireland too! I was in the Army reserver for four years ( a great experience) but when we were off duty in the middle of nowwhere - drink was all that was there!!! crazy!!!

And its a sad state of affairs in the British isles (geographically, not politically - this includes the island of ireland) Drinking culture is ridiculous!

And the eastern Europeans (not all) fit in very nicely to this! And from being in Poland - i can see the same culture is there.

I dont drink as much as i used to - maybe 3-5 pints over an entire night and maybe a short or two for special occasions but even then - i am prob not in the pub more than once a month!!
