UK, Ireland / How many paddies in Poland? [38]

RevokeNice,,,,even the most "bleeding heart liberals" among us are in agreement that immigration is out of hand, this is anEU wide issue, not confined to Ireland. Ask any Italian, any Greek, any ,,,etc etc.

In UK Asian and African immigrants are allocated council houses above UK families, on estates where the English/UK family may be third or fourth generation. If anyone dares mention it they are labelled as "Racist" (shock!!!) Local politicians deny this but the truth is in front of our eyes.

Why however are you so concerned about the Polish? They are your religion, your colour and they are workers.
Unlimited immigration is not unique to Ireland.
We all have to live with it now. Or should we choose "rivers of blood"?
Why not just lay off. You've made your point.

UK, Ireland / Irish Primary schools to teach Polish [223]

Because Ireland is in the EU, you win some you lose some, toughshit.
Irish have been riding high on the Euro hog for long enough.
Our perfectly good friendly local pub in London was taken over by Saoirse thugs, boohoo....
You remind me of Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants, he suffers without enough hatred....

UK, Ireland / Irish Primary schools to teach Polish [223]

Teaching the same old useless languages is the biggest waste of resource as far as I can see.

Absolutely PolskaDoll.....for example FRENCH!!! Totally useless, and yet theyre still wasting time attempting to "teach" it in Primary schools... bonjour,un deux trois, je m'appelle Johnny, year 2, year 3 , year 4 , over and over again...

At least if Polish is taught there may be some kids around to try the new words on....

Learning any language benefits the individual.

No time spent language learning is time wasted.

Language / Things Polish people who speak English language say [180]

can we start a new thread,,,,"Things English people who speak Polish language say"
In general (present company excepted!) this would be NOTHING!!!!(Because they don't....,or have any wish to.)
instead of being picky about silly little errors that don't affect communication or understanding at all, why not praise Polish ppl for how WELL they speak English?

Simples!!

Life / I'm an American who lived in Poland for 6 years. I'm not welcome anymore. [169]

And I am an American. I never had perm. residency. I lived entirely illegally and never earned a legal zloty.

at risk of repeating what other posters have already replied, WTF are you complaining about?
I bet you're one of those Americans who gets all hot under the collar about "wetbacks"....
Or is that "different"?

Life / why do People in Poland speak so quietly? [23]

Black Americans speak the loudest (in general). That's particularly true in movie theatres when some yell back at the screen.

oh there was a really funny scene in a film the other night where a black American woman is yelling at the screen in a movie theatre...the rest of the audience murder her violently... damm the name of the movie escapes me....
