Love / Are you in a Polish-nonPolish relationship? [150]
I have to admit, at the beginning when we just started dating everything was new and fun. We didn’t really care that much if we could understand each other properly.
Problems started when dating transformed into relationship. Sometimes we were killing each other over silly things we said or just the way things were said.
Our idea of spending the time off work was a little bit different too. And I'm not talking about going to a pub with the lads for a pint and watching rugby match or something.
At the beginning it was difficult to understand that there are some things we just do in a different way, and that’s it. We had to learn how to let some things go to make it work.
We had lots of ups and downs but I guess it made us stronger. Our cultures are different, we were brought up in completely different ways, but after all these years of 'love and hate' it's still good fun to be around each other so I guess it was worth it...
At the end of the day it matters who you are, not where u r from :)
Something missing in my previous post. Must have del it by mistake... :))
I'm Polish, my fiance is Irish and we live in Ireland.
