For future reference, search in google for tips how to get the Oswiecim. If you put in google " auschwitz everydaykrakow " you will find the description of Auschwitz tour, as well as tips on how to get there. Buying an organised trip is good, but you can also get there by bus or train.

Work / Access to Live in Poland to raise my son [13]

Let's not assess the person so easily. What would you do if your child was taken to teh USA and you would have no access there? you would also want to get a visa...

Having a child with Polish nationality makes things easier for sure. But the proccess might be long. But if you were USA citizen (as it was so easy for you to get there) you would have no problems with moving to Poland.
