Study / master in tourism - Wroclaw [5]

hi...

thanks for answering...but my university cannot helps me cause I'm looking for this master by myself...it's not connected with the studies I have done here...so It's just my job to find information about this master....;)

so...I'm going to wroclaw to do this master..

does anyone knows if the 2 years master in Poland are going to be recognised in Italy as "laurea specialistica".

In Italy we have 3 years of studies plus 2 and I have seen also in Poland they have 3 years bachelor and 2 years master, which I can imagine is the same of our "specialistica"...

so...are they going to recognise this in Italy ? thanks a lot for your answer....I have to move in few days and I cannot find this informations....thank u :)

yes the course is that one u linked...and about this : "Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in area related to the proposed field of study" I have a 3 years degree in Italy and they told me it's ok fer them.

and then u have written "That's what they say (Study in English):"...what do you mean ? yes this master is in english and all the courses should be in english too...at least they told me like this from the university :)

I'm gonna check in the websites U adived me for checking about the recognising....

well...here in Poland it's also totally different the method...we should usually have to participate and talk all the time during the class..we have sometimes homeworks.

In Italy mostly if u are there, if u aren't...doesn't matter...U will study your 3 books for and if u have done well the exam u pass it...if not u will try again...but it's your business..here it's more like in the high school.

I have spoken this morning with one my polish friend...she told me, as I have thought, that here in Poland everybody pass with no problems the exams...they don't have event the idea about the meaning of "leave the university because too difficult".

She told me with a master u can do anything more than get a shity job in tesco or something like that...
In Italy I know people they left university cause they tried almost 10 times to give an exam and they didn't manage to pass it...too much to study.

anyway this morning I felt humiliated to be in my lesson and draw the phisical map of Poland during the lesson. yes..we must draw maps with lakes, rivers and so on.

What I'm gonna learn of it ? and I'm in the same course with some people from out EU who paied 4500 euro for this course.

I have been accepted in Poland, anyway my english now is not the point...and I was ...I wanted just to hear your opinions...
I just meant that I was drawing lakes when I was 9....in tourism we should talk about management, marketing and staff like that.
I just want to learn more about Poland...not attacking anyone...besides I live in wroclaw and I like it !!

you all right...but that's a master..it should be taught after 3 years of studies of bachelor degree...anyway I meant marketing of tourism and management of tourism...that's the subjects we have in Italy.

well...the studies in Poland for poles and people of EU are for free...so mostly of the people are studying here don't pay anything...and me neither.

Secondly I know so many poles who are studying in different faculties at the same times, not paying anything, and getting good marks in all these faculties.

third : I have never met one Pole who left university cause he didn't manage to pass exams....in Italy that's a high percentage.

still...I'm not against one or the other system...just looking for your opinions-

all right ! I'm agree....just one remark...in Italy we have university with and without selectivity...it depends...the one I've done was with it...only 150 pass trought the entrance test. but yes, many of them are without.

In these days I have met somo poles and they told me actually my uni is easy cause is in english...they said usually english masters are easier, but if u study in polish it's getting harder.

But still I have met again many poles who are studying 2-3 bachelor/master in the same time...that's sooo weird for me.

In the previous pages I've already explained that I'm in the public university of Wroclaw...I have posted my studies, they are in english but they are for free, as all the public courses in Poland...only people from extra-EU have to pay.

Moreover I'm studying with people from wroclaw, who don't pay as well of course.

I think it's about the system in Poland, in fact here if u failed one exam for 3 times you have to repeat the year (isn't it ?), so I guess professors usually don't feel to give u a vote down!!

Anyway, cause in my course there are also 2 girls who are from asia, so they're paying a lot for studying, maybe the uni decided to give an easy level on this course...in order to have this girls also next year and get some money again...it could be like that..anyway I repeat, I'm not paying, I'm in a public uni.

anyway one fried of mine is studying in england and it appears to be as easy as here in Poland...so maybe it's our problem in Italy that we study too much...thinking about doing 2 different degrees at the same time in italy sounds really funny...cause almost impossible (even illegal, we aren't allowed)
