God the nonsense that comes out of your mouth is astounding. She is one of the LAST people here I would say has that complex. She just gets grief because she says what a lot of people are thinking but imagine themselves too 'precious' to say out loud.

Even the few who are involved in Islamic activity, they are not full time in it, and devote only part of their time for Islamic work.

As if that was not enough, the Polish people, in general, have a very dim view of Islam and Muslims, mainly due to the anti-Islam propaganda that has been feeding their minds. At the same time there are Islamic books that are written in the local languages that would give them at least an adequate understanding about this religion. Even the few books on Islam that are available in the market have been written by non-Muslims.

This is fear that companies selling water have capitalized on..maybe in the past it wasnt safe here but now its fine. In the US it is fine to drink all over.

A third world country is worth worrying about but not the modern world.

In fact look up some tests of bottled water...lots of brands just fill from the same water system the public uses. It is not some miraculous healing water touched by god or something.

Thats because they are Polish and all Poles have bought into that no matter what they truly know. It's like getting a Zameldowania...msot people will say they cant register you because then they can't sell the house as if you have some rights to it....this is total nonsense but they are convinced it is true and will not believe otherwise no matter what.

I wouldnt be surprised if the water tests fine but they are still not willing to accept it.

The numbers of extremist islamic schools and imams preaching hate are massive. This is not just a couple fringe nutters causing trouble. It is a big problem within the community and needs to be addressed from within.

re your second issue...I don't agree with any religion imposing itself on others...but Christians are not blowing people up and chopping off heads...past atrocities of Christianity are noted but the problem NOW is Islam.

WHen you try to force a religious paradigm on a country...that includes telling those NOT of that religion how they can act...there is a problem.

Black people in the USA are not trying to make whites into 'blacks' or making them remove posters of animals. Islam's goal is to convert all to Islam...and they often see it as fine to use force.

See? Much better without the guido kissing. I would say if you were walking down the street here you would not be taken for a foreigner. Polish girls have a real self consciousness issue about the nose...some are bigger than normal but rarely does it look odd...in fact the ones I hear complain the most about their noses have lovely ones.


This is the same everywhere...Europe is not Utopia and you haven't seen rude until you live in some places in this part of the world. Just don't expect it to be 'better'...it's not....just 'different'.

I would say your father is a respectable looking guy but then the weenies here looking for ammo would say I am just trying to 'backtrack'...he doesn't look particularly Polish to me however.

Exactly...this is the kind of ridiculous thing that goes on everywhere....taxi drivers refusing to take people from pubs etc etc. Don't try and force your beliefs on the majority and indigenous culture and expect them to be happy about it.

How about NOT asking us to change our rules and customs because it bothers you. YOU are the guest. The London Police were giving grief because of flyers that had a puppy on them (a Police mascot) because the muslim community was all upset at the 'filthy' animals image being around.

Nobody wants to make you eat something you dont want...just dont expect us to accommodate you...if you want it that way stay where it is already like that. If you want is the Western way go there...but stop trying to change the West into your kingdom.

I am not Polish buddy...I live in Poland. And yeah lots of cultures don't assimilate well and I think they are wrong too. If there were a huge number of Americans living here in Poland and demanding that Poland chance things to fit our needs I would not feel that was right...even if it would benefit me. I also don't hang out with only Americans and isolate myself. I don't like a lot about Poland but it is not my place to make Poland fit to me...I am the guest. I just demand honesty and decency(not always forthcoming here thus my frustrations)...your culture wants to force change to fit your customs.

You do NOT integrate...you demand accommodations for praying, food, 'words allowed to be used', you have posters with puppies removed because you are offended as they are 'dirty' yet you wipe your bottoms with your hand, you get enraged to the point of demanding death for people who draw a cartoon of mohammed, you live in communities of only your own, you insist on locals in your host country following YOUR customs yet you do not extend us the same courtesy when we are your guests, you march in the streets chanting death to America etc and you are telling me you are the victim? La Shukrahn not buying it ahki.

I know you as an individual are not responsbile for all Islam's problems...but only those within the religion can fix it. Take responsibility...refuse to allow the extremists to take over your faith...realize as an immigrant it is YOUR job to adapt to the new home not that country's job to change to fit you (believe me I know it is frustrating but I cannot expect all of Poland to change for ME no matter how nice it would be) and then things will change for the better. Ash...as you can see Poland is NOT a welcoming place to muslims. I doubt anyone here knows of any areas where muslims live en masse in Poland. You have to face the fact that people here are not going to accept you for the most part.

That being said many valid points have been raised here. Islam is broken and needs help. You are not going to get any sympathy for your plight in this part of Europe as there have been too many problems over this religious nonsense.

Really not the same thing...this is not even remotely common for Polish behavior but the things many peolpe are bothered by are common behaviors of muslims. I do agree not ALL muslims are terrorists...but name another religion that is blowing things up and cutting off people's head right now? There is an ingrained problem in the interpretations and beliefs. Even your own country is archaic in it's treatment of women and many customs.

The people here who say all muslims are evil and stinky are idiots...but that doesn't mean a lot of them aren't. I for one would like to hear a muslim say "you know our religion IS a little backwards and there are a lot of morons within it doing evil things...but we are working on it" Instead you get a bunch of excuses and BS. Your religion has a MAJOR and growing problem and you need to fix it from within.

muslims also refuse to integrate as immigrants and DEMAND the host culture accomodate and change to fit them. That is very wrong especially considering when we go to islamic nations we are not accommodated and in fact as Justysia said we can even be harshly punished if we don't follow your rules exactly. Hypocricy is rampant in the islamic world.

Yep...so true. When I was last back in the US the younger sister of someone I knew was writing me all excited about some guy in NY who was going to pay for her flight over and give her a place to stay while finding her a job. Trains are comfortable if you don't mind the changes and the time...but I would advise you to avoid coaches unless you are into pain. Unless it is one of those super expensive 'first class' style coaches that are popping up....most of them are miserable.

Where do you draw the line then? About half the Pakistanis I know are offended by the term Paki and half not at all. When does it become a 'bad' word? I call black people black with no ill intent...it describes them just as I am white.

With some words like 'n!gger' it's quite clear it is offensive when said to someone but I reject this idea I can't say the word when talking about the issue as long as I am not calling someone by it...saying "the n-word" is stupid.

Being polite is good....1984 control of language is not. Your bin liner story shows how humanity is truly lost.....

Nope...physiological changes occur in our voice boxes and muscles used to make sounds as we age. Only people who learn starting very young or those who do a LOT of spcialized training are going to be accent free.
